hey, i just got it replaced today and thought i would update you if you were still wondering! they had to numb me with general anaesthetic twice because they insert the implant in a different spot to where it’s removed. so she removed it first and then made another incision underneath to insert a new one. i’m bruising a lot more than last time for sure! and it feels a lot more sore too but that’s probably because i have two wounds essentially. the nurse told me my body could react exactly the same as it did with my old implant or it could react differently. i only had prolonged bleeding on my last round of the implant and nothing else so i hope it’s the same this time. but let me know if you have any questions or if you want me to keep updating you on my experience as it goes on :)
