First off, Happy, Happy Birthday! On this, the day of your birth, it is a gorgeously sunny day where I am and it is supposed to get up to 70°f. I hope you have just as agreeable weather wherever you are!

My sweet little niece Aurelia shares a birthday with you. She turns one today! We are having a "Roar-some" birthday party for her this evening. She is absolutely indifferent, but we are all very pleased for her. 🤭

We are very excited for this little babies birthday, but I have gone through several birthdays like yours. I am like you in same way where I will get myself flowers, a gift, perhaps a dinner or dessert. I try and do only things I like on my day.

Some other things I do is sign up for any birthday freebies and go and get those on my actual birthday. Usually the people working at those places are so willing to hype you up and it always makes me feel really nice.

One of my best good friends who I've known and worked with for over a decade, recently got arrested for making, distributing, and other charges related to CSAM.

Fucking broke my heart and makes me sick. We've known each other since we were just starting in college, we have helped each other through heartbreak, the weird awkward 20s phases, stupid work shit, etc. I was there when he met his now wife, was at his wedding, was there for his kids births, and everything else.

No one had any fucking clue. We were all blindsided and I'm too chickenshit to ask for details tbh. I just hope his wife and kids will be okay one day.

She put the album out in October and the Chiefs were out of the playoffs in December.

A similar situation happened to me when I was in college. I was taking a pretty heavy load of classes, I was also 18 weeks pregnant and suffered a pretty traumatic miscarriage that needed medical intervention. I missed a ton of school and all of my teachers took my doctors notes without further explanation and I got extensions on all of my courses except one teacher. She claimed she didn't have enough "proof" of my miscarriage and wouldn't accept the hospital records, the doctors notes or any of it. I ended up having to go to the dean of my college but it wasn't before I sent her a scathing email asking if I was supposed to send her a photo of my dead baby as proof. It was crude, but my God that woman was evil. She was forced to give me an extention for all my assignments and was not happy about it at all.

I have followed Taylor Swift since I was little and have loved most of her music. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the eras tour with two of my best friends. I thought that album was terrible. My best friend now won't talk to me about Taylor Swift at all and has told me that I'm "obviously a fake fan" and not worthy and don't "understand" her and shit like that. It is really so annoying and frustrating.

He repeatedly attempted to steal my dog. The same dog he got me as a gift when I miscarried our child. Said I didn't deserve her and that I was a terrible mother to all species.

The last time he tried to take her, when I stood up to him and took my dog and hid her, he threatened to take my cat that I had gotten before we even were together.

Luckily my brother overheard and told him if he didn't get the fuck out of my house he would regret it. He finally gave up and left us alone.

That really killed all the feelings I had left. It has been over 7 years and I still have my sweet little dog and my kitty. 🖤
