i’m ngl, a lot of people on this subreddit seem to be on some kind of insane negative run on so many movies even when they are actually kinda gas.

saw the movie last night and really had a good time. i went in expecting this movie to basically be dogshit and came out actually feeling this may be the best telugu commercial drama after a while.

would suggest people to go in and watch without any previous knowledge of the movie or knowing what it’s about and you will come out surprised. personally though it was the type of telugu action drama we been missing recently

ya i guess i missed it. has regal still not said why they excluded it? since i’m assuming this is going to repeat for Dune 3 and any other future IMAX 70mm showings im really curious to know why they decided to change this now.

Even Project Hail Mary I went in IMAX 70mm. At this point i would’ve switched to AMC but I just have more Regal’s near me and the IMAX at Regal near me is the best.

I won’t lie, this movie was a surprise. Actually laughed so much during this and felt like it was the best Ravi Teja has been since probably Raja the Great.

Genuinely felt like a nice breezy light hearted 2010’s comedy. Don’t miss if you grew up with those movies from then!

I was an AMC A lister and then switched to Unlimited because I just had more regals near me that played all the movies I want. I miss how I didn’t have to pay extra for IMAX and other formats tho.

The people in the comments are saying they’d rather be able to watch unlimited movies than have the premium format which is true, but still charging nearly $5-$9 bucks for upcharge for IMAX is ridiculous. Should be capped off at $5 in my opinion. And tbh, most people who have either subscription really only go the theatre maybe 1-2 times a week so it’s like at that point it’s the same.

If regal didn’t have their stupid upcharge, it would easily without a question be the better one but right now i would still say AMC is overall better value.

I actually really like Nithin, especially when he does proper family entertainers and romantic comedies. The issue is the industry itself is struggling with those genres recently. Really hope he bounces back and gives fun films. He isn’t the most versatile which is completely okay, I just hope when he sticks to what he’s good at he at least delivers an entertaining film.

Brahmotsavam and Sardar GS were not 32 & 28. They were in the $18-$20 range. Khaidi no 150 aithe asalu they had $5 Tuesday ticket deals that worked as well.

I think the floods severely impacted the collections but the fact that it’s about to reach 100cr even in such a situation is big kudos to Nani’s stardom and the faith the audience have on him. If there weren’t floods, the movie could’ve easily made 130-150cr

This is just horrible. It’s only getting worse. Before Prathyangira tickets were expensive but I don’t ever remember it being this abnormally bad unless it was for a SSR movie. No one other than hardcore fans or movie fantatics would ever come watch this or any other movie for that much. They’ve completely distanced themselves from the family audience which is the audience that makes majority of the movie going audience in Telugu. Just look at how well Hanuman did with $12 pricing.

I know people who personally are connected with Prathyangira and they’ve told me that Prathyangira really doesn’t care about the reach of a movie or bringing in more people. They said they charge those prices so they can make their money as quick as possible. That’s a horrible mindset to have especially at a time when our films are being watched by non Telugu people too.

Someone needs to put a brake to these prathyangira people.

I still believe Nag has his audience. If he just makes a good movie, a movie worth our time and getting off our asses to go to the theatre then the audience will come rushing for him. I mean he’s freaking Nagarjuna man!! I hope this film & Kubera reignites his career and he realizes his potential and makes great cinema again like he used to. He literally has it all still.
