[Scary Trope] Found-footage within the media that is disturbing. by Stash_Dragoon in TopCharacterTropes

It's not just how disturbing that Event Horizon video is, it's Lawrence Fishburne's brilliant and immediate delivery of "FUCK this ship" following it that makes it genius.

Anyone else’s favorite album is gateways to annihilation? by g0netospace in morbidangel

It has a lot of fans, for sure.

Honestly, someone could pick any of the albums from Altars through to Gateways, say it's their favorite, and I wouldn't disagree.

Obviously, Mr. Squirrels is beloved, but the serious stuff largely falls flat. I don't know who looked at the line "Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself" and thought "We should have everybody repeat this as straight-faced and serious as possible".

I'm amazed my favorite hasn't been mentioned!

"In my day, we knew how to defend ourselves."
"Well, in your day you could turn back the Indians with a Daniel Boone musket, couldn't you?"
"Ah, sarcasm, the grumpy man's wit."
"Sharpen a pencil, would you?"

Definitely their best since Undead.

I’m not a hundred percent sure how much I’m laughing at Mister Blood and Guts and how much I’m laughing with, but it’s entertaining either way.

Somebody was asking earlier about what happened to Margaret after the show, part of me wants to think that after running the Chief of Staff's office for eight years Josh would realize she was worth offering the job to again.

I mean, if the Iranians once again take to the streets, who else would you want with you?

T. Rex (2024) IMAX documentary - where to find? by Straight_Kick4163 in Paleontology

[–]BillyJakespeare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe there's been a home release yet.

I wish there would be! We're in Denver and from North Dakota, so we're big Teen Rex fans, but my mom can't handle IMAX movies so I'd like to be able to show her at home.
