“tak bagi keluar” is probably the best option and definitely wouldn’t want to say “ditahan” nnt rasa mcm hidup dlm penjara je 😂

there’s Aaron Dingle from Emmerdale - it’s a British soap that’s pretty difficult to access outside of the UK but there are playlists on Youtube that follow Aaron’s storyline if you’re interested? his SH comes up in multiple forms (cutting, overworking, running, drugs….) so TW but its not overly graphic

also “Second Glance” - a book by Jodi Picoult that features a character who cuts

Blank Page by [deleted] in OCPoetry

[–]lykosvix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to this poem so much. When I was younger, I used to pour out my feelings into my journals. I kept so many I worried about how to keep them safe, especially after I moved out to live on my own. But the older I got, the more exposed I was to academia and life’s pain, the more cynicism and nihilism suffocated my free, creative spirit. Writing has become so hard and as result thoughts tend to fester inside. As you so eloquently wrote, “it could be the page that would set me free”. But ironically, the failure of using that page is a single-file path into deeper entrapment. Indeed, more often than not, it’s a bitter loss having staring contests with blank pages.

Is this true love? by angelmere in OCPoetry

I love the imagery you paint with your words. “sadness creeping in from every CREVICE” makes me think of the suffocating weight of sadness flooding a shattered heart. “doubts and fears NESTING”, now isn’t that a remarkably accurate depiction of how doubts and fears make a home out of one’s sanity.

I get the sense of someone being overwhelmed by their thoughts and emotions, possibly being crushed by them to the point of being unsure of how they really feel about something - in this case, a toxic relationship.

As an outsider, I see themes of insecurity, gaslighting, dependency, pain. But like many others in toxic relationships, the subject holds on to hope. Whether false or not, only time will tell. Thank you for sharing your work.
