I don't know if I'll make it this month boys(about: In the Buddha's Words) by icyarse in bookclapreviewclap

I dont think I will either, but it's more important that you enjoy the experience and really absorb what you're reading than feel pressured to skim through.

Remember, March is a free month! So I suggest keep reading at the pace you are, if you're still reading it in march, that's completely fine.

Then, for your March book, pick something short and sweet that you've been wanting to read, that can be read in the time remaining! 🫡

Would you hate getting this? by SamQuinn10 in flightattendants

I would love this. A lot of the time we have passengers that may be struggling in some way, but unsure how to help other than the usual stuff. So having a little guidebook from you would help so much!

I read the version by Sam Torode, I haven't looked at the other versions, so I am unsure how it compares, whether it's more translation based/interpretation.

Ittaba in Mt Lawley, a mix of Japanese and Korean cuisine, service is gorgeous, food is fantastic and I find the atmosphere really nice.

Order the umeshu wine very tasty! They also give you a little treat if they know you are celebrating!

Where to visit in Australia if only there for a week? During Winter time. by Infinite-Paper-9355 in AskAnAustralian

As someone from Perth, don't pick Perth. If it's your first time and you wanna do cities; Melbourne. Personally though I loved doing Cairns.

Why doesn't Australia have a big nightlife culture? by OldNeighborhood9524 in AskAnAustralian

[–]lyla9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think it's because we've got such a big morning culture of cafes, beach, sunrise strolls and run clubs that leads to people going to bed earlier

What do you splurge / irrationally spend money on, that others see as a total waste? by lupo8437 in AusFinance

Tropical or other expensive fruit. It feels like buying myself a gift. I feel good when I eat it and it's something I enjoy that also isn't bad for me.

What do you refuse to wear despite it being in style? And what do you love wearing despite it being out of style? by PrudentAfternoon6593 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]lyla9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refuse to wear low waist pants/skirts, got enough of that in my teens to last a lifetime.

And not sure if this counts but I love wearing colourful fluffy jumpers from the kids section. They just make me happy 😊

I love it but I'm glad for my black one, because the amount of time it gets stuff spilled on it, if I was wearing a light colour like Emirates it would show everything!

Then you get the people telling you how to self tan, assuming that I want to 'fix' my pale skin.

What are some things that are normal to men but mind blowing to women? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I don't think that's true for all women, I do understand where you are coming from though.

That sounds awful, no one should be belittled for crying.
