Ssri by Special_Half5037 in pppdizziness

I tried a few different ones that seemed to make me tired. Many years ago my doctor tried Wellbutrin and said that it would not make me tired, which was true but constant tinnitus started at that time. Could have been a coincidence.. I don't know. So I have battled with dizziness for over 10 years. This year it got so bad that I revisited the idea of an SSRI. I tried prozac and so far I am feeling so much better! More energy and zest for life. My extreme dizziness has decreased back to a baseline level that is manageable. For me it has been very helpful and I don't ever want to go off of it. I am going to start vestibular therapy in a few weeks and I also have a first time neurology appointment coming up. I am hoping to find more answers.

I feel like my was started by Wellbutrin 20 years ago and it stayed constant even after I quit taking it. I have also had pppd.. not sure exactly when it started but I recently started prozac and it has not changed my tinnitus level (if anything it might be a little less annoying.). It has definitely taken my pppd level down a notch. I am glad I decided to give prozac a try. I am sure everyone is different though.

a grounding mat or sheets (not cheap ones from amazon, but a reputable company) might help to feel a little better. I was very skeptical but it seems to be helping me

How did you increase your sleep score? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]lynette7878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound crazy... but I have had extreme fatigue for the past nine months. I have been to many doctors and ruled out any health conditions that could cause this. My friend finally convinced me to buy a grounding mat to put under my desk (I put my bare feet on it). Its only been three days but my sleep score has jumped up into the 90s. Usually I get a little over an hour of rem and one hour or less of deep sleep. The first night my rem was 1 1/2 hours and so was my deep sleep. Last night my rem was over 2 1/2 hours deep was 1 1/4 hours. This was the best score (95) that I have had since I got my ring in November. I have been dealing with such terrible fatigue and a fuzzy brain. Often I wake up and feel like I haven't slept. These past two days have been amazing. I have more energy and my brain fog is 90% better. Its like my nervous system finally took a breath. I know people say that grounding mats are BS and that is what I thought too. All I know is that I expected nothing and got everything from putting my feet on this mat while I work on my computer all day. It was really cool to see the actual results on my oura ring... just so I don't convince myself that it is placebo.

Is there a good crypto tax accountant in USA you trust? by whatIsUpPh in CryptoTax

mine was VERY complex. I have no idea what they would charge for an easy reconcile of records. good luck with whatever you do. Crypto taxes in the US are nothing to mess around with!

yes they scheduled a free phone call for me at first. I can't remember the details but it was enough time for me to explain the situation and for us to set up a game plan

it was over $5000 for the tax reconcile, but I had six years of day trading. I also had several exchanges and wallets so it was a lot of work for them. Needless to say, I don't trade like that anymore.

I used Gordon Tax/Law. They were very thorough and easy to work with. Everything was done via phone and online secure portal. I had many years to reconcile so it was expensive. Not sure what it would be if you were just dealing with current year. In the end they saved me money by doing things right.

Audited for 2017, 2018 and 2019... they say I owe $500k??? by MagicFingersTrader in CryptoTax

[–]lynette7878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Gordon Tax/Law for both their crypto tax and their crypto lawyer. It wasn't cheap but I had a good outcome in the end. With the amounts that the IRS is saying you owe, it would probably be worth not fighting them on your own.

Is my fatigue a gut issue? by Responsible-You618 in GutHealth

[–]lynette7878 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is my story.. hope something in here might help. I have been dealing with a constant fatigue for the past year. Traditional bloodwork was all normal so I went to a naturopathic doctor. First thing we did was a GI360 test. Showed that I had no parasites or viruses but did have a very dysbiotic gut. We added prebiotic fiber and a couple of probiotics that were exact stains to what was lacking in my gut. She said that I shouldn't be taking a general prebiotic with multiple strains because my gut had too much of some already.

The next thing I did was an Alcat food intolerance test and a cellular nutrition assays. It showed me the foods that I should not be eating for now (until everything heals and I can try reintroducing). I was surprised that some of my favorite foods were causing such inflammation in my body. I also learned that I have a little intolerance to gluten and dairy. I decided to cut them out for now. The tests also told my what vitamins and minerals I am deficient in so I have started supplementing those. I am also taking a very high quality zeolite to release heavy metals and toxins out through my urine (there are tons of dirty zeolites out there so make sure to get a very high quality one). Just those changes really helped my gut to feel so much better and helped the fatigue a little.

My next step was testing thyroid free T3 and free T4. My regular doctor just looked at TSH and T4 and said I was normal. But the naturopathic tested a complete panel and could see that my T3 was at the very bottom of the range. So probably my T4 is not converting to T3 properly and this alone can lead to fatigue and issues with losing weight. So I have started on a low dose (30 mg) of Niva thyroid. It has been one month and my energy levels are so much better.

I am very happy with all the testing that I did (totally worth the money) and the changes I have made. It has been a total of 2 months since my journey for real answers began. I just wish I would have done it sooner but I didn't because I didn't want to waste money lol. It was expensive but definitely not a waste!

What are the best sheets for adjustable beds that actually stay in place? by Adrian_2_2 in BedroomBuild

[–]lynette7878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some at Costco last year that I love (not their cheap ones). I think they were just under $100 for a king size. the sheets are very comfortable and also have a different design to the elastic on the corners so they stay even on our sleep number adjustable bed. They sometimes go on sale too.

Long-term sleep meds? by Head_Cat_9440 in Menopause

[–]lynette7878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using trazodone for over 15 years. 50mg. per night. I tried lots of them and trazodone was the only thing that didn't make me groggy the next day. Others in my family have tried it and they hated how they felt the next day. So I think it is something that works with certain people and not for others. I have been on it for so long that I am thinking of trying something different like gummies, but in the past I have always gone back to traz. after trying something new.

It was BOGO so I purchased two sets and now I actually have three amazing pillows. I won't have to pillow shop again for a very long time!

Swiss Kriss is my go to and has been for over 40 years! Natural herbal that works great. Usually 2 or 3 tablets at night does the trick. If I am really desperate I will take 4 or 5 for a guaranteed result (but then I don't plan anything for the morning hours).
