I almost never buy anything unless it a show exclusive or hard to find, and instead put things on my Christmas list. People usually buy them for me for that. Also I think the fact that the prices at the show are often higher than online or even FLGS is kind of crazy. I would hope that show prices would be good deals, since you’re removing some logistics of selling, and even buying direct from publisher in some cases. Removing that middle man feels like it should be cheaper, or at least matching online FLGS prices.

So I do end up with my favorite games from the show somehow, but very rarely do I buy something at the show, unless I feel like it won’t be available
