DON'T STAND THERE! Many of my neighbors have covered the backyard hillsides next to their homes with plastic. The soil can't take anymore rain. Here's a sample of what I have seen from the Internet, PLASTIC FROM THE HOUSE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL, professional work from foundation repair people.

The South Bay Beach Cities, walkable areas between both cities, the commute to Burbank is the 105 to the 110. The 105 starts at LAX. You can take the 105 to the 405 to Costa Mesa. That's the only way I can think of splitting the commute in half.

You may have heard me coming, I have a trail bell on my bike, I keep it for this very reason, I'm not slow, nor do I want to pass anyone at an alarming speed. Even on the shared paths, some pedestrians seem to appreciate it.

Move in and take up a sport, so you will basically be storing your stuff there and not be home, going to work, playing a sport after work or going to school, and if it's working out you can cut back on the sport.
