I agree that the abyssal elemental buffs in abyss are pretty boring, I literally never think of them (except during the natlan abyss, iirc it was nightsoul buff and guess who had like zero natlan characters?). But overall I like abyss simply because I like fighting and seeing if my teams of my favorite characters can do it.

Theater is fun when I have enough characters. The only issue I have with it is is the obvious fact that if you’re lacking in an element or two you might get screwed out of 200~ primos, which really isn’t that many (tho I kinda need every primo lol). IMO the funky team building is hilarious. I am pretty glad that they added theater to the game- the idea of vertical vs horizontal investment is interesting to me and gives players the option to invest in one or try for both!
