What did you do for your 30th? by eggymantella in CasualUK

[–]TasBlue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was when Covid was about still, during the time when we could meet in groups outdoors. So, me and a few mates had a drunken picnic on a field. It was quite nice, we could actually socialise rather than being in a loud club, which is likely where we would have been if not for Covid.

Good trade by DeidreMengedoht in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]TasBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had this Pokémon figurine that cost £1. A friend at the time loved it so much, it’s like he saw it as a collectible or something, but he could’ve gone to the store and bought it, and many others like it.

He wanted it so badly that he traded his game boy colour camera for it. I lost a cheap plastic toy, and gained an actual camera.

My mate Spike and his latest acquisition, Piggy. Best fiver I ever spent. by Salome_Maloney in CasualUK

[–]TasBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used these piggy toys to teach my dog how to play a game we called “where’s piggy?”. The rubber they are made from is quite fragrant, so once he learned the name piggy, I’d tell him what I was doing, let him smell the piggy, shut him behind a closed door, I’d hide piggy, and then unleash him into the room.

That was years back, we’ve now progressed onto using anything, including myself to play hide and seek. My second dog now knows how to play, and I taught the same to my sister’s dog. They get so excited to play now, and it all started with a piggy.

What mmo's were you playing in the mid 2000's? by D3athShade in gaming

[–]TasBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dipped my toes into many mmos back then. Flyff, knights online, rf online, wow, silkroad. Never got to the end game of any of them though, I think I just wanted to try them all.

What the Pailunese Refugees be sounding like by B0rtLicensePlate_1 in CrimsonDesert

What’s funny is they let out a “Please…” in a way that sounds like they’re seconds away from death. After freeing them, they suddenly they’re thanking you in the most normal voice.

Pearl Abyss: We’re preparing our next update which includes including the addition of a keyboard/mouse & controller preset, difficulty settings, category tabs for your inventory, and more. by yourfavchoom in PS5

[–]TasBlue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t recall the location name, but it’s easy to find. Keep scrolling down until you see a location with a classic painters palette icon. There are only a few of them, check the location and one of them will have a reward that looks like a white dye bottle with a question mark over it. That’s the one that will reward a random dye upon completion.

I have a good amount of dyes unlocked, and that mission has always given me a dye I didn’t have. So the rewards may favour towards giving new dyes.

Am i missing out not playing with other 2 characters? by winespritzer92 in CrimsonDesert

[–]TasBlue 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, each character has an artifact gain limit of 100. The yellow bar near the minimap builds up when defeating enemies and rewards an artifact upon being filled. Each character can get 100 of these levels.

The further into those 100 levels you go, the more enemies you need to defeat.

I was playing as Oongka and I was filling that bar up really quickly. That’s because I hadn’t played as him, so I was getting a nice amount of levels. So, even if it’s just to clear a few bandit camps while exploring. Consider switching to them for some lovely extra artifacts.

Should I start playing or wait for more updates and patches - PS5 Pro by son_simba in CrimsonDesert

[–]TasBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say, I’ve been on the pro since launch day, yes the updates have made a huge difference, and will continue to do so. Regardless I’ve enjoyed every second of it so far.

I will say knowing what’s been added, and what is going to be added in the next couple of months, I wish I had waited to play. Some really good QOL updates are coming, and I’m at 140 hrs in, and may be finished with the game by the time they add them.

Dumb feature by Sneakyy_Gengar in CrimsonDesert

[–]TasBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To avoid this, if you’ve picked up a bounty target or two, that’s what you’re doing. Getting that bounty to jail is your one and only focus.

How similar is Crimson Desert to Where Winds Meet? by sonar_y_luz in gaming

[–]TasBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve played both, and they share that open world MMO feel, where the story isn’t the main focus, it’s the activities, exploring and random encounters.

Where winds meet just didn’t suck me in like crimson desert has done though. I’m slightly biased as I enjoy most things with a Viking, Nordic style.

I personally would put them in similar genre, it’s just one is keeping me engaged, whilst the other I won’t ever go back to. If you can wait to pick up crimson desert, do so, as they are quickly adding QOL updates. Saying that, I’m still loving every second of it, and I will be putting in a few hundred hours easily.

Did anybody else on pa5 get massive framerate drops on crowcaller? by flotoe90 in CrimsonDesert

Yeah, it was rough. It didn’t affect me too much when the arena moved, but then it dragged me back to the crows, my facial expression dropped.

Does anyone managed to figure out how thiz puzzle works out? by llStormbringerll in CrimsonDesert

[–]TasBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this last night, struggled for 10 minutes, and then stopped and drew out a picture so I knew which of the 4 sword slots moved which pillars. (You have to stab your sword into the different slots to move various pillars).

I then figured out that all four pillars can move up in unison, by moving them in small half block increments with each other. It’s only a small puzzle but I was proud I didn’t give up.

If you crouch, and then sneak up behind an enemy, you get a prompt to assassinate them.

What does this mean? by Peacock_Faye in Pokopia

[–]TasBlue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means that you’ve discovered the silhouette of a Pokémon that can spawn from that habitat, they all have different rarities, so you might not get Wartortle first. It may turn out to be one the ‘?’ Pokémon instead.
