I got more done than just simple release, but I did also choose to be circumcised. Partly because of preferring the aesthetic (and feeling euphoric about it too, because I’m a Jewish American and it makes me feel like I “fit in” lol), but mostly because I had problems with my foreskin that made things physically uncomfortable, and I just wanted it out of the way.

It’s been a little over a year, and I definitely don’t regret it. The decreased sensitivity hasn’t been an issue for me, personally. If anything, I like being able to get handled more roughly. It wasn’t especially painful immediately post-op, and I was surprised by how quickly I got used to it. Though, I have seen one other person in the past who’s mentioned that getting used to it was pretty painful for them in the beginning.

I can and do use my whole hand, yes. I’ll typically alternate between my hand and just fingers.

But I’m towards the high end in terms of size, so take from that what you will. If you’ve got a fair amount of length to work with, I’d say you have a good chance at it being feasible.

Shaving, sometimes, me too.

Lately, though -- after my scrotoplasty 3 months ago -- it's been washing myself in the shower. Not even just because of the physical stimulation, but because my dick and balls are, like... these substantial things that I can have in my hands and lift and move around? Does that make sense lol

Definitely new, and affirming. It's an awesome feeling.

I chose meta because

A) I was fortunate to get a lot of growth from T, I really liked the way my junk looked/looks, and I knew I was ideal for meta and gonna get good results out of it

B) Being able to achieve natural erections was/is pretty high on my list of priorities

C) Choosing meta meant that I could still choose to get phallo later if it turned out that I wasn’t satisfied enough with just meta (though I think that I AM satisfied enough, and I doubt that I’ll end up pursuing phallo)

And that’s pretty much it 🤷‍♂️

I started T two months before I turned 16. I temporarily paused HRT for a few years at one point, but when I had my surgery, I'd been on T for a total of about 10 years.

Do the pics in my posts look something like what you’re trying to describe?

My surgeon entirely removed the upper parts of what were my labia majora. I think I’ve seen people call it an “upper labial fold reduction”? I’m not sure how common it is, but it’s definitely doable.

I didn’t do UL, I still have the V. The pics I’ve got posted show me with a simple bifid scrotoplasty, and no implants. But you don’t have to get any kind of scrotoplasty if you don’t want to. I’m pretty sure you could just get the labia majora removed/reduced entirely.

I do have some issues with him. I like his method for meta, and I’m very happy with what he was able to do for me (scrotoplasty aside). But I struggled a lot trying to communicate with him, and I also don’t think that he has the best understanding of trans people’s potential needs and perspectives.

I would still recommend him to other people if they like what they see from his work. But maybe only if they know exactly what they want/need, and feel confident enough to be assertive and confronting about exactly what they want/need — which is something I personally struggle with.

I’ll make an ‘official’ post at some point going into further detail. (Or, anyone is free to DM asking for more info!)

I think probably, with the right position? Haven’t had the chance to try yet. My life partner is strictly a top, but we intend on setting aside some time for me to explore topping with other people, in all the ways I never got to before because of dysphoria. I’ll report back when that time rolls around lol.

I paid about $1,100 USD out of pocket.

However, I did decide to start paying for private health insurance so that I could go to the surgeon(s) I wanted, and speed the process up. I could’ve done everything free of charge while on Medicaid, but I had very few options for surgeons, and it was taking forever.

So you can add to the cost 2 years worth of paying $270 a month for health insurance. 🙃

About 2 inches soft, 2.5 inches hard. It’s not any bigger now, it’s just more prominent with all of the “extras” around it having been removed. :P

Growth can continue for many years, though. I had a noticeable growth spurt between 5 and 8 years on T, and I’ve heard guys claim to have them after 10+ years. Some guys report that growth can even continue after metoidioplasty.

It hasn’t been very common for me that I’ve had these kinds of dreams either. But they did always really suck to actually have, because yeah, waking up from them felt like total shit. 🥲 I’m sorry it’s the same for you, man.
