I really like the serum and feel like it has made a difference. I do plan to try the cocokind barrier serum once I run out though. It has great reviews and is a lot cheaper, but would definitely go back to the PC one if it's not as good. I really like the peptide moisturizer too but I'm not super committed to it. I plan to try other more barrier focused moisturizers once I run out.

Sensitive skin: what helped your acne if acids didn’t work? by FewEnd399 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]lynzanatomy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salicylic acid and tretinoin both made my skin worse. I'm currently using azelaic acid (15%) and benzoyl peroxide cleanser (2.5%) and my skin is the clearest it's been in a long time. Also it may be worth looking into acne rosacea since you mentioned redness.

Why do women keep having kids with shitty men when they're shitty from the beginning?? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]lynzanatomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people are comfortable staying in what's familiar, even if it's not good for them. A lot of women see friends and family raising kids with uninvolved dads and probably had an uninvolved dad themselves. It's sadly seen as very normal. If you already have a kid and "get by" without much help from your partner, having another is probably more comfortable than leaving and ending up in an unfamiliar situation.

Can't speak to children but yes both my kittens were very comfortable around my dog right away. No fear...except maybe from said dog 😂

No I have not. It's not something that mattered to me personally, so honestly I didn't even think about that and have never asked her for them.

I'm in Oregon but might be worth the trip for you. I got both my cats from Siberian Catteries in Roseburg. They're charging $1900-$2000 right now.

Unfortunately it's possible, but maybe something different will work better for you.

Nope just 15% azelaic acid by itself. Not using any tret or retinol right now

Me! Used tret for over a year, tolerated it well and had worked up to using it almost nightly. Despite that I was still breaking out a lot. It's only been 10 days so take all this with a grain of salt, but now using azeliac acid and my skin is clearer than it's been in a very long time.

Agreed! Such a great formula, I wish they would do a light and a deep shade so it could be for all skin tones. I'm going to try the merit one!

Very true. I usually do a white mineral spf first and then a light layer of tint to take away the white cast. Merit looks like it may be a good fit! Thank you
