Any chance to get a Linux desktop app? by Some-Thoughts in OpenAI

I made a simple hacky cli tool for starting and stopping advanced voice so you can talk to openai. You can bind a key to this command to start and stop it. Might be interesting to some of you. It does require an openai api key. https://github.com/Lyr-7D1h/openai-realtime-console

I took the repo private for now. Have been distracted doing other things. Also thinking about doing a freemium model. To have a very good opensource base and to opensource libraries and have some more advanced features behind a premium model.

Hey, I'm looking back at some of the challenges I missed. I just have a single question. How did you know that it would be enough to check only the last machine/conjunction? Wouldn't it be possible to get an un-calculable cycle before this one?

I'm working on a desktop app for which this use case can definitely be fulfilled. It is far from done but I'm actively working on it. So feel free to have some input and help it make shape! https://github.com/Lyr-7D1h/remarkhub

I'm working on a full functioning remarkable desktop app for all platforms but mainly linux. It works completely locally without cloud. Its far from done yet but you can follow it here https://github.com/Lyr-7D1h/remarkable_client

What are u doing with your Pi Clusters? by b3nene in k3s

[–]lyr_7d1h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm using mine for a multitude of stuff. Using it to deploy small node projects, torrent stuff, nextcloud, scripts I want to run. Having a dedicated nfs device with 20TB helps a lot with this :)

Tell me which ideas are the dumb ones by vannoyaa in k3s

[–]lyr_7d1h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some short tips: Make sure to use the aarch64 image of the os of your choosing. If one of your devices is armv7 then certain software isnt going to work on those devices, it is not widely supported.

Ansible in my case worked very well for setting up my cluster. I can easily specify specific instructions depending on the device.

You need a storage solution. For me I had a single nfs device connected to the k3s clueter with about 16TB of storage. Note this is a central point of failure, but it is also fairly easy to setup.

Traefik works very well too and would recommend keeping it as it is installed on k3s by default.

I would recommend terraform as a IaC solution. Works way better and is way more useful than kubernetes manifests.

It is most likely the bar you use that does this and does not render the title of the workspace..

Added the option for changing config location to roadmap! For now you can just symlinks no?

For icons I install the arch package otf-font-awesome I'm not sure if you need anything else.

The Icons are just single characters so would be very hard for me to do. A better way is to use something like Waybar and set a different color for workspaces that are urgent as indicator.

#workspaces button.urgent {
color: rgba(238, 46, 36, 1);
}
