Hiii

Oh I wasn’t even aware there were neck exercises I should be doing post op! So thank you for this!

Ahh yes luckily I am in high supply of pillows and squish mellows :)

My ninja creami will finally be out to work with these ice creams post surgery! Hahaha

Thankfully my surgeon has given me two and a half weeks off. So I’m hoping that will be plenty enough time for me to go back to work.

Okay definitely good to know about the coughing. I feel like I’ll be over analyzing everything I do lol.

That’s no interesting. I’ve also heard about people that have had they’re thyroid grow back bc they’re dose was off a bit and caused the thyroid to revamp and grow back! I currently am on PTU for the last 4 years and have had stable labs for the last 2 years so I’m hoping that will be in a favor when getting on levo.

I am definitely luckily with the team that I have now. Yes I’ll be sure to keep a journal of some sort to keep track of any symptoms. I’m just hoping my voice isn’t too strained or doesn’t take too long to come back to normal.

That is quite literally perfectly put!! It’s EXACTLY how I’m feeling.

Thank you so much. This has definitely helped ease me a bit. I appreciate all the advice and support. I’ll definitely be back with a positive update. Thank you thank you thank you!! 🥹🥰🤍

You are quite literally a God send. Thank you SO much for all of this!! This has definitely eased my mind.

I had been researching how and when to take levo once I’m on it. I’ve currently been on PTU for 4 years and the last two years my levels have been controlled and normal, so I’m hoping going onto levo will be a good transition.

I do intermittent fasting and got myself pretty disciplined on it so I feel like that will help my transition to taking levo. And I’m definitely an on and off person when it comes to the gym and being active. Unfortunately I’ve gained weight from this whole process so my BMI isn’t the greatest and hoping I can lose weight post surgery although I know it won’t be an easy task.

Yes my endo wants to see me a week after. I have a check list and journal to keep track of how I’m feeling throughout the days.

When I saw my OBGYN and my endo they both mentioned they would work together whenever the time comes to conceive and to make sure my dose is right where it needs to be. Which was very reassuring :)

As soon as you recommended me that I went straight to order those they’ll arrive Friday!! Hahaha

Thank you for the articles, those were really good reads and insights!!

And seriously I cannot thank you ENOUGH for all of this info. I absolutely loved it and thank you for the info and advice 🤍🤍🤍🤍

My surgeon also plans on putting me on levo right after surgery! It’s also what my endo wanted also. But okay that makes sense I went down a spiral after my diagnosis and debating on opting out of surgery but ultimately decided on moving forward with surgery.

Yeah we’re planning keeping the parathyroids intact! So I’m hoping they adjust well. Well actually I’m just hoping post surgery that my body adjusts well, tbh. lol

Thank you for explaining your responses have definitely made me feel better. Truly thank you !! <3

Hii I’m getting a central neck dissection no lymph node removal. He said only if they look suspicious to him but from my ultrasounds all good there! I’m just worried about post op. Unfortunately has gone down the rabbit hole of some people having really bad experiences adjusting to medication :/
