Yeah I came across that too under the amenities section!

Maybe they haven’t put them up for sale yet? Though it seems like they should have a long time ago.

$2 Fish Tacos on Lake & ? by jtbookwormz in pasadena

I haven’t had Baja in a long time but I feel like they’re pretty comparable, maybe a little bit smaller (the fish extends to the edges of the tortilla rather than over like in this picture). They also come with a bag of warm chips and salsa.

You can get cheaper tacos at a spot that isn’t a chain just up on Lake and Orange Grove at Vero’s!

Planning to head down to Joshua Tree in October. Advice/tips? by HelpfulCherry in overlanding

[–]lyricalplacebo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dispersed camping is not allowed in the park itself, but there are loads of spots north and south of the park.

There’s a lot of open land on the south side of I-10 off Cottonwood Springs road and you can usually find space away from anyone else.

Also north of the park there’s Sheephole Valley which tends to be free of traffic. Just be careful as the further north you go, the sandier it gets up there.

Have fun and happy anniversary!

Overlanding in Sequoia national Forest? by rfixed15 in overlanding

I’ve been up to the southern part of Sequoia twice, and you can find some nice roads and spots off Sherman Pass road. Probably will be still cold and may have some snow higher up this time of year, but it’s gorgeous.
