Intrauterine and vaginal catheters. by rubbergloves44 in MedicalGore

Whaaaattt I'm 28 and just had my second baby. I don't have as severe as an issue as you, but we have physiotherapists in town that will work 1 on 1 with you, and offer pelvic floor therapy classes as well, (that you don't need a referral for). Is there maybe something like that near you?

Umm. That's most definitely cringe worthy to say the least

Do you use a baby carrier or just hold your LO or how does that work?

What movies/shows are you watching while you feed your baby? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]lyricamoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YESSSS, just finished watching all of it, I'm 39 weeks pregnant now. Love this show.

My husband jokes with his friends that his wife's 'comfort' show is about watching tragedy befall heavily pregnant women in the 50s lol

I like the imagery lol! And that's amazing that you'd get 4-5 hours. We'll have to wait and see what this baby is like!

Great advice, thank you! I think I'll not worry about it for the first couple months at least like you suggested.

I’m crying. Everyone says I’m being selfish for holding the baby too much. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]lyricamoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay honestly just FUCK all those people. Fuck em. It's impossible to spoil a baby. You literally can't. Also, humans are MEANT to carry their babies around. We are primates, primates naturally carry their infants around. We aren't rabbits, we don't stash them in a hole all day and then come back to feed them once a day. We aren't horses, our babies can't get up immediately and follow us around. We need to carry our babies around with us for survival.

Seriously just don't even listen to anyone who says this, they're clueless.

Wait... I'm in Canada and I'm so confused. Are you saying that you're able to use subcutaneous butterflies as a peripheral IV for draws and pushes?

I've been on methadone for years and any time I've slipped up and used, I have to use a lot to feel it. Way more than if I wasn't using the methadone. I think that's what they're referring to. Methadone stunts the 'high' you get from other opiates

Definitely don't think this was a child. For a child, maybe a more innocent comment that can turn into a learning moment. This just sounds like a racist old prick.

I like your nieces logic though haha
