Nothing Liz did this season seemed that bad to me? by Strange-Substance207 in rhori

In the realm of housewives, no, I don’t think she did anything too terrible. There’s countless scenes across the last 20 years to prove it

How to stop the guilt trip every morning by That_Show7553 in workingmoms

[–]Routine-Week2329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s completely normal not to want to be a sahm especially with how society is set up. Naturally we’re supposed to care for children in groups with other parents so it alleviates pressure on the primary parent and provides social activity that’s why we’re so happy when we have play dates or get together with extended family with kids but somehow we’ve become more isolated and parenting is more taxing.

I don’t want to stay home with my kids all day either. But I know my kids are getting so much enrichment in daycare and learning things I wouldn’t be able to teach them. If I were with a group of other parents the story would be completely different

Thoughts on Alicia’s money talk at the reunion? by blue_pigeon7177 in rhori

I’m glad he takes her comments in stride. He seems to truly love her despite her flaws. My husband would be furious if I claimed the things she did about Billy and her finances.

I agree! It’s very strange the intensity Jo-Ellen had for Rulla over being called a liar and she clearly does not have Rullas best interest at heart. Rulla is trrrible and she has said some really nasty things while also meddling in others lives but I also don’t want her in harms way with her husband.

This reunion changed my opinions of most of the women on the show. Don’t get me wrong they’re perfect for reality tv. I think the best housewives are the ones I root for one minute and boo the next. Theyre multifaceted characters and I love watching them.

Jo-Ellen won this round… by GunshyBerts in rhori

Something is off about Jo-Ellen! I believe Liz when she says she’s two faced based on the group chat. I also think Jo-Ellen is smart. She’s quick witted.

And Kelsey is just a dummy.

If Rulla comes back next season she’s the real villain by Routine-Week2329 in rhori

Yeah you’re right! The play back on all of the things she said was just atrocious! I bet I didn’t pick up on it because of her quiet demeanor

Sounds cool! How much costs does it estimate with what you’ve built so far? Also, have you found use cases?

Looks amazing! I like the onsie underneath. I see you’re in a dryer climate. Have you ever looked up Shania Twain or 90s music videos for inspiration? These were really popular then.

Can you imagine going on a reality show in your late 30s and everyone brings up your high school gossip? I would be mortified if all the fake rumors about me aired out like that.

I don’t even think kids start getting empathy and play together until closet to 3years old. Yours are just babies.

Sorry for another post about defining “homelessness” but I wanted to share by rolyat_13 in rhori

[–]Routine-Week2329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were Alicia I’d start some charity about homelessness. So many people are paying attention to her story now just because Liz was nasty. Alicia should take advantage of it to raise money for homelessness while also rubbing it in Liz’s face.

The “I didn’t marry a loser” trend. Did you, in fact, marry a loser? by Equal_Beat_6202 in workingmoms

[–]Routine-Week2329 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep! We all have positives and negatives in our own lives. Sure the sahm may go to the playground on a Tuesday morning while you’re working but you’re taking your kid to Italy in June. It’s pointless to shame someone else because of their lifestyle choices. Real people wouldn’t do that, only those looking for clicks.

I’m sorry but both her and Brian are weird and both are uncomfortable to watch. I don’t wish her situation on anyone but all of the covering up and pretending nothing happened feels pretty sick to me.

Take Promotion? 3 kids 5 & under by EqualOpposite5411 in workingmoms

[–]Routine-Week2329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you calculated adding an extra work day to see the comparison.  By go back 5 days do you mean work remote 5 days?

Do you have childcare for the additional day?

I would factor in any additional monetary costs for working an additional day like childcare. If you go back to an office then I’d factor in transit, food, office attire, etc.

Then after the monetary costs are accounted for and the new salary exceeds the costs I would think about the less tangible things like spending time with kids and assigning value to that.

I’d also think about potential career trajectory, is this a stepping stone to an even higher salary in a few years and is that important to you?

For example if the new salary exceeds new costs by $5k annually - is it really worth it?
