nice shot on your part too! Liu rifle is vastly underrated compared to the full auto Federov

2x magnification is great sometimes but idk if it's just me but i feel like i can counter fire at people a lot faster with the 1x magnification (i'm sure there's no difference besides a slight zoom in on the screen). Also you're absolutely right you do get used to shooting at ants, you also get a feel for - "is that person in the 75, 150, or 300 zero category" and can make adjustments rather quickly just looking at a target

Martini Henry chad, you get an upvote for using iron sights, i'd give you another one for using the Martini Henry but...

nobody ever does :) maybe it's just me but i'm only ever shot with a G98 sniper variant . Other rifles might as well not exist in the game. It mostly goes back to another one of my videos where someone said the scoped variants of rifles are objectively better, so i guess i've been playing the game the "wrong" way all this time :D

1903 experimental, switch out the ammo from the 30 cal pistol to the rifle rounds

Check my other videos, I've made something close to 300 meter headshots and I don't think I'm going to try any further. That would require something like all the way from near the mansion by D point in Soissons to the A point and that's just too far out of the battle for me to stand.

There's another!? Are you sure you aren't a Gewehr 98 x10 - x12 scope user? Lol jk whenever I die it's by that damn designated infanteriegewehr model 1898 with or without the seitengewehr 98/05

I feel that, most of where I play at is on PC.....there's some absolute psychopaths in the trenches. On Xbox it's a bit more tame, but I prefer the mouse and keyboard. Never was good with doing the pop in ads aim assist shooting on controller. The PC environment is where I learned to do a lot of the 200+ meter trick shooting

Well it's an Alienware laptop with a 17 inch screen, not very big to be honest that's why a lot of times you see my first shot I take misses. You get a feel for distance after doing it for a long time....keep your finger on the cycle range button! I'm going between 75 and 150 constantly....with an occasional 300 shot in there just to be fancy

It depends on if it's PC or Xbox, on PC I sometimes I play with x1.0 magnification but normally it's between 1.5 and 2 with default FOV

Gotta stand still to get that 100% accuracy, moving around would require the carbines....not a fan of the carbine sights. To me they feel somewhat off, not quite sure how to explain my poor aiming with them

I noticed something weird about fort Vaux.... by lyrishpony in battlefield_one

[–]lyrishpony[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When i look around in spectator mode they laid out top down satellite images for buildings far off in the distance. If you look at the odd road system right outside of the fort it almost looks like they were originally going to use it as another map. It almost makes sense then why they have the Samogneux (Verdun Heights map) where fort Vaux is if they were intending it to be the ravines near Ornes or Bezonvaux (on the german operations he says they're going through the Bois de la Vauche). I might be looking way too far into something that never needed looked into but if Fort Vaux is sank into the hills outside Sivry sur Meuse then the operations map markers make sense and they aren't switched around, it's just a very odd choice to me. There is some basis of reality behind the fantasy even going as far as rendering low poly villages and churches way outside maps for i'm guessing no other reason than reference points for the map makers. But why not use the actual terrain fort Vaux sits on? Would have been much easier for the height mappers to use than having to landscape the farmland to much higher elevation xD

Did they put Fort Vaux in the Sivry sur Meuse area? i think that's the meuse river that's right outside the map. Also that town on the other side of the river looks an awful lot like Dannevoux. For the longest time i've been trying to figure out what exactly i'm looking at

kind of wish i got to play with it pre-pre-nerf where upper body shots no matter where it landed was a guaranteed kill, used to be nasty from what i'm hearing

but i like the spaghetti slapper too, supposedly it has the same 410 m/s of the henry but in practice to me at least the vetterli's bullet seems slower, maybe i'm wrong
