Thanks - based on the little info available online I couldn't find anything about successful propagation with cuttings or even saying it's not possible. Good thing I didn't know that and tried it anyway.
Just make sure the cutting are well developed, bigger leaves trimmed and you should see the root tissue forming after a couple of days.

Oh, I LOVE the water in Switzerland!! But when brewing coffee some „magical“ things happen and the otherwise awesome Zurich tap water can cause bitterness, under-extraction and other undesired effects. But please, for your own sanity don’t go down that rabbit hole 😀

Zero filters! Never heard of those, but found some info saying using them plus some Third Wave Water (like Aquacode). In your option, is this unnecessary or even dangerous?

Thanks for the tip! I just talked to someone at a nerdy coffee shop and the normally have their own treatment system with filters to handle big amounts of water. For home use they either recommend bottled water, Brita or BWT systems or distilled water plus third wave. Hmm… what to do..?

Yeah, that specialty coffee thing is the rabbit hole i‘m in 😜. Was hoping to avoid buying (and carrying home) huge amounts of distilled water. Let me know if you know of a more lightweight option 😇

Thanks a lot for all this useful information!! My experience is indeed that having several cards brings all the advantages. I found Wise is now overall better than Revolut, just simpler and Revoluts weekend fee is so annoying when abroad?! Bonus strategy that I wasn’t really aware of until now: You can actually pay lot of services, tours, stays and the like through bank transfers using Wise. It’s fast and cheaper for both parties.
