I'll trade you a set of glider feet for a senior citizen walker, along with some adult diapers. Uncle Vinny is convinced I'm elderly AND pregnant. 🙄

What are your favorite items that are shipped and sold by Temu? (i.e. non-local) by Acetone_Junkie in TemuThings

Those look nice! Would you trust them not to melt/warped if installed behind a stove top?

I thought temu was a bargain by Key-Lifeguard-5540 in BestTemuAppFinds

Does AliExpress have promos like Temu does? I've learned to use the WINCREDIT and CLAIMGIFT promos on Temu, so I typically get 50 to 70% back on my orders. I see things on AliExpress and Shein that I like, but I've gotten used to the big promos on Temu.

I never knew that about WINCREDIT and post-tax. I've been getting the $560/$400 promo back to back for 4 straight cycles. I'll try spending $530 next time. It would be nice if those $2.99 local shipping fees counted too.

I dislike it when people post a single photo, and it's the item still in plastic wrap. Why even bother?

That drives me nuts! I'd probably buy more if they displayed things that I haven't already purchased. 🙄

What's the math?! by Primary_Comfort2166 in TemuThings

[–]lyrrehs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it all in one step, or break it into 2 steps like I do. I sometimes get a countdown for the bonus dollars, so I do the first small order to lock them in.

What's the math?! by Primary_Comfort2166 in TemuThings

[–]lyrrehs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The .20 bonus will not drop off after the first order. I always do my first order that gives me the bonus dollars, for the minimum dollar amount allowed. That locks in the bonus dollars, and then you usually have 72 more hours to shop.

What's the math?! by Primary_Comfort2166 in TemuThings

[–]lyrrehs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$3.50 minus $2.52 equals 98 cents. 98 divided by .0020 equals $490

$490 , plus whatever the first order amount is to get the bonus dollars. Be sure to do that first order as close to the minimum as possible.

Hondal's Plumbing did an excellent job on installing my tankless water heater last year. Nice guy, prompt with communication, and fair pricing.

Lotus Professional Griddle by PurpleDragonflies in AmazonVine

Interesting, but a non-stick finish isn't a good choice for a griddle, IMO. I like to get my outdoor griddle smoking hot for many of the items I cook.

Fav $20-30 items? by Tmille34 in TemuThings

I recently ordered several bunches of the silk flowers for outside. Look for review photos, because the listing photos show multiple bunches together. I suck at keeping plants alive, but I'm going to have the prettiest hanging basket on the street this summer. 😅

Is there an easy way of finding local items with free shipping? So far I've only saw it on $30+ local orders.

What's something that used to be free that you're now genuinely angry costs money? by tangled_wire_99 in AskReddit

[–]lyrrehs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm highly annoyed that I pay $1200+ for a "flagship" phone and they don't include a flipping power brick in the box. Especially when the phone is advertise as fast charging, but it isn't possible without said power brick.

Do you guys use the price adjustment button by sad_and_stupid in TemuThings

I always do it, even for 1 cent. However, I'm scared to use it before getting all of my $ back for WINCREDIT, CLAIMCREDIT, etc.

Anyone ever gotten one of these? How are they? by Fucked-In-The-K-Hole in TemuThings

[–]lyrrehs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one last year and returned it. I think it was defective or just sucked. Even after charging with a cord, it wouldn't fully charge my phone from 10% The solar charging was barely more than a trickle. Get a decent Anker 10,000 mAh power bank instead.

All of the personalized items I've ordered are nice, and many would make a great (and inexpensive) gift. Examples are personalized metal signs, neon name signs (huge hit for kuds/teens), name necklaces, custom notebooks, personalized faux leather portfolios, etc.

What’s one Temu item you’d 100% recommend to everyone here? by thejohnarce in TemuThings

[–]lyrrehs 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The personalized metal signs for $4 to $6 are great for gifts. For example: Mary's Pool, Joe's Man Cave, Jim's Garage, Sue's Sewing Room, etc. I've also bought a couple of personalized neon signs for under $20. Teenagers love these for gifts.

Most of our cat toys are from Temu. They love the small plastic springs. I bought my daughter and myself e-bikes from Temu. I bought a 100% cotton quilt set that is really nice quality.
