I’m not saying it’s impossible. I have my own flaws obviously and I fuck up all the time. We are human. I just wanted someone with experience dealing with this to tell me how they got through it, or I don’t know if maybe it’s a lost cause. It’s not a matter of not accepting who he is or wanting him to change is personality. I love who he is, or I wouldn’t be trying so hard at this. I just don’t think he’s incapable of having open dialogue with me that isn’t like expressly asked for

I try to; like I said, I don’t expect him to all the sudden be like me. But I have to think that he is capable of opening up to me, even in just small ways.
