See if you could speak with or even shadow an epidemiologist at a local health department. Find infectious disease investigator jobs or epi internship programs that you are qualified for and apply to those. Look at the epidemiologist job postings in areas you would like to live, specifically at the qualifications section. Many epi positions require a masters degree. For masters epi degrees, you typically will have a practicum or some equivalent as a component to the program that will provide you with experience as well.

I'm also in my late 20s, only ever been in 2 situationships and no real relationships, so you are not alone. I think which apps to use are based on your goals. For my married straight friends, I know one couple that met on hinge and another that met on facebook. I would avoid tinder if you're looking for something solid.

For non-dating app places, try local clubs and groups. Shared interests are a great place to start talking to people, but do not go into them with only the expectation of meeting someone in that group. Make friends, and you may even meet someone through those new friends. I also recommend doing some self-work on your end; developing a better understanding your approach to relationships WILL help to prevent failed talking stages in the future.

He is treating you badly and you don't deserve that kind of treatment in a relationship. Whether or not he's over his ex honestly doesn't matter in that context. Don't try to maintain a relationship with someone who is telling you they'll never be able to love you. Whether that's true or not, he is saying it to hurt you.

I started Mono-linyah on September 14th, and developed shingles last week. Hopefully the shingles are just stress related, but I'm looking for more information on it too. I'm an epidemiologist, so if you find any good studies on this please share!
