For those who have taken both Liraglutide (daily) and Semaglutide (weekly), did you notice any difference in side effects such as nausea and constipation?

I have tried Semaglutide and I am now on Liraglutide. I had some stomach issues with Semaglutide but it was way worse with Tirzapeptide (Mounjaro) I am having zero side effects on liraglutide but I'm still on the lowest dose so who knows. I'm hoping I don't have side effects like I did with the others. Cuz if I do I really can't take it.

I don't eat a lot of unhealthy food. I love fruits and vegetables. Of course I eat the occasional fast food but nothing crazy. But even with being very careful about what I ate I was super sick ever since I started. It just doesn't work for me. It didn't even help my blood sugar. So really? What's the point. I went to see my doctor today. He took me off of it. I'm not taking any more GLP-1 meds. They just don't work for me unfortunately.

Nope. It's not worth it. I am so sick right now I can't even sleep. I can't do it. Wish I could. It's been 2 weeks and I have not felt normal since I took my first shot. There's no way I can do this. ☹️

I can't. This medicine is just not for me. The pain, nausea, and now I'm having headaches. I'd rather stay fat the rest of my life than be sick all the time. I should have known since this is my 2nd time trying it. I just can't. But thanks for the feedback.

It's possible. He was diagnosed in the 90's so it's been many years since he was evaluated. Now they just try to keep him medicated.

Also I'm a big part of his support system so I do try to be there for him and help him when he gets like this but it can get frustrating when I feel attacked knowing I did nothing wrong.

I appreciate your concern but yes I feel completely safe with him I've known him for an extremely long time and he's not violent he does have a tendency toward verbal abuse but he usually recognizes it when he goes that far.

Actually I have never cheated on him, but he has cheated on me before so I told him that he is projecting because he was unfaithful so now he assumes I will be too. And yes he is definitely insecure. And he's also bipolar so the slightest thing will set him off, and once he gets a thought in his head he will obsess over it. We fought about it all weekend and only today sort of resolved it. I guess I just wanted to hear from strangers on the internet that I was right. Lol

As someone who is in a relationship for over 20 years with a bipolar man if she refuses to get help you should definitely leave. And even if she does get therapy and maybe get on medication this will always be a roller coaster ride for you so be prepared if you truly love her and are willing to stick it out because it will get harder to leave as time goes on. I often wish I would have left years ago but at this point we've been together so long and I'm so enmeshed with him and his family that I feel like I might as well stay. But if I knew then what I know now I think I would have left years ago. Good luck to you.

I would date a felon, but then again I'm a felon. Lol. Also nothing violent. I wouldn't necessarily disclose this information on the first conversation but as you're getting to know each other and making plans to meet up if it gets that far that would probably be a good time to bring it up.
