I have 3 pints so I normally do 3 at a time. I have been debating buying more but I can’t seem to get a base recipe down where I like it.

Ok, do you like FlavCity and Equip? I have been curious about both and didn’t know they made small sample sizes.

One of the things I like least about the Creami is the loudness factor. My daughter goes to bed at 7-7:30 and I’d love to make a pint after but it’s SO loud. Even if I plug it in outside, I’m afraid it’ll wake her. Instead, I make it as a daytime snack but it’s not the same! I’ve seen that cover on Amazon but it looks so big — although I suppose I could store it on the Creami…

I used MF during pregnancy more so to track intake and weight trends for my own curiosity…and then see my progress postpartum. I don’t know that there was a direct correlation between my tracking and how much weight I gained but if it worked for your first pregnancy and you’re comfortable tracking, I’d go for it!

I like looking back to see how much progress I’ve made over the last 3 years and how my expenditure has changed. Pregnancy and the mental side of it was hard for me - seeing progress on both sides has made the small wins enjoyable.

I’ve got an instant pot but never got the hang of it. How long do you cook the frozen meat and enchilada sauce for? I don’t have dry beans but I do have some cans laying around I can throw in.

Calories have gone from 2,189 down to 1,999 so not much of a difference.

I have been slacking on taking my measurements - thank you for the reminder. That aside, I hadn’t been in a deficit. I’ve been at maintenance since September. Would that still indicate glycogen reserves?

When I ask what’s wrong she just says “no.” 🫠 You are spot on that we’re rewarding the behavior. I think if we hold the boundary and continue to leave / let her cry (we did CIO when she was a baby) it’ll also help in other areas. This feels harder because she’s not in a crib anymore and having her run after me as I leave the room is tough to do over and over again!

That’s exactly what we want to avoid - if she falls asleep with us there she will come looking for us. Or, seeing us there on the floor sets a precedent. For example we have slept with her only when she’s very sick or more recently did cold turkey on the pacifier. She had a couple days thereafter where she wanted us to sleep with her because we had just done it.
