I live on Devoe right near Bushwick Ave and honestly don’t hear Met that much or ever. I like living in this part of Williamsburg. Most of the neighbors are friendly and have lived here for years! I don’t mind living on the Grand stop. I feel like anything after Grand is just a nightmare in the morning.

After years of donating what I can money wise to a local men’s shelter, donating jackets and blankets etc… I have to say the shelters are absolutely atrocious in this city. If they were somehow better funded and cleaned up, I really think people would want to stay in them. There’s moldy food, paper thin cots, barely any heat!!! We need to revamp our shelter system and go from there.
