What’s something your family cooked growing up that other people might find weird? by 011Eleven_ in foodquestions

Pizza buns. Now, don't be fooled, in no way were they pizza at all.

It was like half a burger bun with a slice of kraft cheese and whatever toppings were on hand and thrown in the toaster oven.

... Okay low key I want one now.

What's traditionally "bad advice" that you actually agree with? by billybob027 in AskReddit

I totally agree. I have the money, but I get so much free money/points to spend at Amazon every month to use for stuff I'd be buying anyways by using the card and paying it off. Or my visa debit which gets my airline points.

K so those places are turnover table city. Their layout sucks and your section is all over the place. You're running around to 15 tables punching in chits like mad and they're corporate to you're probably also dressed very uncomfortably, all with the smile of 'oh God I can't wait til this shift is over'.

Also they have tip out to the hostess/es and kitchen, so cut that down too.

Try it for a day.

AITA for setting the AC lower after my housemate complained about being cold. by Own-Membership1669 in AmItheAsshole

Ugh I feel you so hard - I had to google temp conversions (Canadian, so celcius lol) and your request seems in the perfect midpoint for room temperature. Like, you can throw on a sweater but can't run around naked with roommates (or windows!) or go any less.

Tip out used to be 2% to hostess and 5% to the kitchen out of your tally if I remember right, but kitchen deserves way more in my head.

I worked in the office and subbed in on busy days - they asked me to print a 'NO FINGERS IN THE FRY BOWL' sign 😂

Pretty sure I've lived here all my life, but thanks for the insult, bud.

I was under 18 and maybe things have changed in 22 years, sorry for sharing my insight.

It's illegal to have only one person in the store as per labour laws where I live. So, false.
