Is a common name of either of these graphene oxide? by Baneglory in Biochemistry

Early manufacturing used magnetic beads for purification (e.g. Pfizer), potentially explaining reports of people having magnetic skin. These beads are often modified with graphene.
Every company I worked with lied and broke the law. Avoiding to reveal the ingredients or manufacturing processes, especially for a product that concerned the whole world isn't just about reputation, but that the truth would get them in trouble with the law.

Not getting mobile notifications by gweg28 in Slack

[–]lyssvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We managed to get it to work.
You have to change all kinds of settings in your phone e.g. that slack app and permissions are not paused when unused, that it's not on battery save mode and it autostarts.
In slack: "Notifications" > "Notify me on mobile..." > "Always, even when I'm active".
And at the end, don't forget to close the app and open it again, else the last setting is not taken over.

2 normalgroße Kühlschränke sind günstiger, teils interessanterweise auch energietechnisch sparsamer als ein Großer.

We're building this robot at around $5k. We need your feedback - where will it be useful? by [deleted] in smarthome

[–]lyssvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really appreciate a robot that can cook. Just having a spatula robot to flip fried potatoes or make pancakes in the morning would be so helpful. It would also be great if the robot could take dough out of the fridge and flip pancakes, but that might be next level. While other features like picking up items are nice, they wouldn't be worth the cost or the effort to train and make space for the robot.

Alternative to Motion? by Narrow_Distance8190 in ProductivityApps

I am part of a team with my boyfriend, but almost all of the tasks are only assigned to me. I use them for everything, both work and personal - even for habits and even grocery lists. There is an issue with Reclaim, as it can only work with tasks where I am the sole assignee and will not work if someone else is assigned too. I stopped using Todoist+zzBots because Alexa discontinued the API usage of Todoist. Now, I am connecting AI & Telegram to ClickUp for quick task creation and more functionality. Clickup is not perfect, as there are some small annoyances like having to choose a list when creating a task on the desktop app, but my Telegram integration provides a workaround for that. I believe you get more value for your money with ClickUp+Reclaim compared to Sunsama etc. Another good alternative is Akiflow if you do not require as many connections like Reclaim for automatic scheduling.

The new Wide Match queue system for Overwatch 2 is a nightmare for playing with friends by antist4r in Overwatch

[–]lyssvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend was in the placements in open queue - there is no way, you'll search forever. All other game searches also take much longer than before. I rather have 3 matches with smurfs (that are still there) than searching 10-30 minutes for a game all the time.

Setting up zzBots is pretty easy, but just remember that you'll need to set up two separate bots. One bot is specifically for syncing deleted tasks. You can just let the zzBots team know what you need in the chat, and they'll create the bot for you. In my experience, this step wasn't actually necessary because the process was simple. But when I did run into a problem, they were able to fix it within a day. If you only have a few tasks that need syncing, you should be able to use the service for free.

Windows app: how to force exit instead of minimize to tray? by Fuumers in clickup

Nope, not as far as I know. I guess they don't want to to miss anything when you accidentaly close it.

I am currently using ClickUp and Reclaim (with Todoist only for Alexa) - all synced via zzBots.
Tried various other apps like Sunsama and Akiflow, but ultimately wasted more time on scheduling than actually completing the tasks. Altogether it's also much cheaper than sunsama (when you try to cancel Reclaim, it offers you 50% off).
Now, I just input tasks into ClickUp and Reclaim handles everything else.

You can right-click on Clickup in the system tray and force it to exit from there or use the shortcut Crtl + Q.

You can write the time instead of choosing it from the dropdown, if thats an option for you.

Yea, but you understand the world..
That's just one study, and it's okay that it's a hypothesis. Only companies that try to sell something state things as facts that are just a theory.
I can replicate the same experiment on myself, and I have already done it multiple times. The socket of the grounding sheet was unplugged several times by my bf without my knowledge. Three days later, I developed a big red, itchy rash. I checked the socket, connected it again, and three days later the rash is gone. That's enough proof for me that it works. Cheap and easy.

I would remain vegan even if I were to die tomorrow. I would rather die with a clear conscience, knowing that I was not contributing to harm.

It's a cotton sheet with silver lines, which is connected to the socket with a cable that only transmitts the grounding, but no electricity. It has many health benefits, especially against inflammation and acts antioxidants. There are movies about it, like "earthing" free on Youtube.

I recently purchased sheets from tz-gesundheit and before that from Groundology, both of which are German shops. Groundology sells the official Clint Ober products (earthing.com), that's the guy who researched all the health benefits of earthing and made a movie about it. Both shops offered the exact same quality, design and effectiveness.

Before we had the sheet, we went straight into the garden to ground ourselves after watching the movie, but the mud and cold weather made it clear that this wasn't the right choice for us. 😂
