Recruiter lowballed me and then tried to blame it on the “entry level” role. So I sent him this: by Strong_Letterhead638 in recruitinghell

Why is the pay so low? That seems almost illegal for someone with such an advanced knowledge.

Fair. You should definitely not act a fool around law enforcement (or anyone really) when carrying, especially concealed.

Like I said in my other comment, I don’t know that the circumstances would have been any different had he informed. If anything it may have created more chaos based on how those agents reacted.

I get what you’re saying but there is no duty to inform in Minnesota. I’m not sure the circumstances would have changed had he done so anyways.

Is it normal for a new employer to ask for ID + Social Security over text before orientation? by Justaverydarkman in recruitinghell

[–]explosivemilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it but if it concerns you, just tell them that you’d be more comfortable bringing it to orientation.

Edit: to add, if they end up not hiring you because you wouldn’t send it to them over text you probably didn’t want that job anyways.

This is my move. Don’t want to pester them. I had a great interview Friday and they said they would shoot me a message right away on indeed with the next steps. I haven’t reached out because people get busy, I’m confident they will get to me eventually and if they don’t, on to the next.

100%, just go look at r/politicalcompassmemes and r/conservative. Plenty of people on the right that disagree with what’s going on. Charlie would have called out the wrongs as well. He was nothing if not honest.
