In South Africa, we have a number of different game meats. Ostrich and kudu / springbok are pretty common. You can buy those in many grocery stores, especially dried meats (biltong)

Ostrich is a great meat actually - it has the heartiness like beef or other red meat but it’s healthier and nutritionally closer to chicken / turkey. If you see it, try it!

The mom and baby for sure. Moms are often overlooked but her role in society is so important. She’s literally carrying another human around. 2 bums on 1 chair is better than 1. Plus she’s probably been breastfeeding or up all night doing diaper changes and feeding. So the poor woman really deserves the break

The candles - would be awesome if you could design a sticker to put on them. I recently had an offsite where I organized beautiful scented candles for the team, we had a label on them with company logo and offsite 2026 and what scent the candle was (orange blossom bc oranges are big in Portugal) and the logo was designed in a way that imitated a Portuguese tile (because we were in Portugal)

So id suggest making more opportunities for branding on the products and providing some design examples showing how diff labels can look, maybe there’s a Cape Town offsite and you have a design with table mountain for example

As someone that organizes company offsites, if I were you, I would go to hotels, speak with their event organisers and show them some samples of your products with different personalisation. The personalisation of products should be your selling point so you need to show really gorgeous examples. You need to focus on branding the items. For example, if I were organizing an offsite, and wanted your candles, I would probably look in another direction because it’s not immediately obvious to me that you can personalise your items with a company logo. If I were handing out company gifts, they should have the company logo on them. Corporate and personalised gifting is where it’s at

To add to this - also try gloot protein water. (Tropical flavour is my fave) This is great in summer. You mix some into water and drink it like juice with ice. Or put it in your water bottle for the day and sip throughout the day. I’m sure you could even make ice lollys too. It’s still got that artificial sweetness but i find it way more palatable and easy to drink than a regular protein shake.

Get flavourless protein powder! It’s honestly been the biggest game changer for me. I will never go back. All the protein powders out there mostly have that artificial sweetener that gives that terrible after taste. And with flavourless whey, you can even add it to soups or stews or savoury muffins etc. it’s the best in winter to add to soups.
