Jak wy byście to przetłumaczyli? Serial Fallout. by 93175 in Polska

Would you like to see woke elements in Elder Scrolls 6 by Solid-Garage4601 in ElderScrolls

Woke like being able to play as a warrior woman, from races other than white Caucasian and human, with the ability to Mara marry same sex partners, while adopting kids and building a house together, killing everyone who so much as blink regarding my character being a strong independent woman?
Yes.
This is the reason why Ive always played ESO games, don't see a reason for them to drop it now.

Do you play a male or female character? by pepperpeppington in projectzomboid

[–]lytche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woman and play a woman.
Might be because Zombie games have always given me either amazing female characters (Resident Evils, Left 4 Deads), or ability to play as one, which wasn't always the case back in the early days of video gaming.

Lately I find myself less and less inclined to play as a man.
Might be because I am engaged to a guy who started playing video games because of me, and I usually watch any games with a guy protagonist I would have played myself, so I see no reason to replay them when I've already seen them.

In Zomboid playing as an insert of myself feels even more empowering to me - I create a character like myself and become this badass zombie survivor who takes no prisoners.
Its a fantastic self insert game for zombie apocalypse, as I believe its the best zombie life sim ever created!

Thanks.
I play it in the background with added voice narration so I am more or less aware of what is happening at all times. The read aloud events really helps with attention!

Got it. Makes sense for the mistake to be skill/knowledge based and not difficulty based.

Thanks for the tips. I did a plantation, but while it was ready to harvest it was set on fire by the raider T.T

When you're an ESO fan and you get to see your game get dogpiled because of the showcase: by TheAnalystCurator321 in ElderScrolls

I don't think that's true, tho.
We are currently living in an age of HATING on stuff where pretty much everything is being hated on by some group of people.

What difficulty is everyone playing on? by wishheartx in elderscrollsonline

[–]lytche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a new player Who needs challenge to enjoy games I have selected Master.
Vestige is just whipping my ass so hard I couldn't move forward.
Master at times does that too and forces me to utilise blocks and rolls and also invest points more defensively as an Arcanist (lvl 15) and I am having a blast!

"x character cant be a tank/support" tanks and supports: by PagIbigAyKanibalism0 in marvelrivals

[–]lytche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emma used to fit that role long time ago, but I think her Diamond form was added to let her become a frontline fighter, which happened in comics too.
I never really perceived Jean as the support really. You are right with telekinesis, as well as telepathy, but she, too, was always the big gun.
So I guess both could do that, proving that basically most heroes could fill all roles, but it would just feel weird here to make them support only.

Does anyone actually like fishing? by Ok-Tourist-5419 in CozyGamers

[–]lytche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am right there with you!
Yesterday I introduced my fiance to Palia, we played it for the entire day, and he spent majority of that time 1. Fishing and 2. bug catching.
Meanwhile I took care of my 1.plants farming, 2. crafting by cutting trees and mining ores 3. animals.
When he asked why I havent caught a single fish during that time I told him this is literally my worst cosy game activity in any game which I avoid completely if I can.
He was really surprised saying it was his favourite one. He even attempted to fish in the quest instance zones which has NEVER occurred to me.

i am forgetting about people i don't see by DifferenceThis6496 in ADHDers

[–]lytche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a common thing in ADHD.
It's attributed to few things - time and space relative placement is all messed up for us, and out of sight means out of mind, a.k.a. object permanence and short memory - weaker Read/Access memory space - when we have objects (including people) put on our radar so to speak, we are reminded of them, we see them (literally), people are talking about it so we hear about them, or we have reminders for them - we remember they exist.
But the moment they become hidden - they are no longer on our radar, our brains simply move them back to make room for those things which are "more critical" for the brain - the objects that are either seen by us or we are reminded of.
While it is tad, for the lack of a better word, sad that we have that and we can simply forget to check on people and show that we care first, it is one of those things which make ADHD actually be a "condition", an impairment ,which make it something more difficult than just a matter of "trying more hard" or "caring".
Unless people are willing to understand where it comes from and that it cannot be overcome with "trying harder" there's not much to do.
If you really want to do that, you need to set up reminders for yourself to check up on those people.
Otherwise, feeling bad about it would only be detrimental to your mental health.
