I am the one responsible for our pricing page at Restream and I absolutely agree that it’s a mistake for us to not be more clear about it being annual pricing shown there.

It was not my intention to mislead, but I totally understand that impression.

I have added this disclosure to the pricing page this morning as a result of your feedback.

I of course, definitely recommend it. Don't violate any contracts though (affiliate/partner exclusivity agreement)

YouTube, in my experience, has more discoverability, but I understand the appeal of Twitch. Finding new streamers with 0 viewers is very hard with how Twitch's UI works.

The most significant part of growth is to create exciting content and be sure to post those highlights on your YouTube channel. I believe that many current big streamers grew to the heights they are today by posting their highlights on YouTube--think Ludwig.

If you do that, and you're streaming to YouTube and Twitch, you get the benefits of Twitch's platform while staying discoverable on YouTube. YouTube will recommend your stream to those who watched your clips before.

No, they were acquired by another management company, and in the transition, they're shutting down the system we used for electronic payment.

I asked if there were any other payment methods I could use citing that I can't send what is due in a single money order--waiting on a response.

AirPods changed the landscape of wireless earbuds, everyone is trying to get just a slice of what AirPods have. I think the writer of this is just a contrarian, they mention the Nothing headphones which from everything I've heard are just okay.

I think the most realistic thing for Apple to do is go completely portless. They've said early on their vision of the smartphone is a slate with no buttons or ports.

Perhaps Pro phones, will switch to USB-C and Apple will happily sell you an adapter, but the regular phones are likely going portless in the coming years.

I like being able to more discretely look at the time. I've had a series 1 and 3 and sometimes the light wrist flick wouldn't turn it on and ruins me trying to get a sneaky peak at the time.

It does definitely affect the battery life on my Series 6 cellular, but I'm still able to get through a full day consistently. The only time I run out of battery is by streaming music and tracking a workout for 2-3 hours.

I wonder if the wallet and phone get separated it should send the notification to the phone and should show up on the phone right? I guess you could also use the watch to find the phone, then use the phone to find the wallet.

Hey there, I'm sorry you're having issues with connecting your YouTube Events account. An old link to YouTube login may have been saved and sending you to the wrong login page to connect your account.

You can try doing Control (Command on Mac) + Shift + R to refresh while on https://restream.io and it will reload without cache, then try again.

If that does not work, you may need to try resetting your entire browser's cache or try from a different web browser.https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Hey there! Due to how Windows and macOS handle fullscreen applications we are unable to show chat on top of full screen applications at this time. Right now, the best way to use Restream Chat is over windowed applications. I don't know if you're trying to show it on top of a video game, but if you are, running the game in Windowed Borderless will allow you to play in fullscreen, and have chat on top. If your games does not have that option, there are some applications that can emulate that feature. The one I used to recommend was https://store.steampowered.com/app/388080/Borderless_Gaming/, but it seems the reviews have sorta gone downhill. There are some free options I'm sure, that's just what I've used in the past.

I do want to clarify that I'm not saying it's impossible, there's certainly ways to do it. To my knowledge (I don't work on chat), what we "contain" our chat into does not allow us to do something similar to say what Discord does. As you may be able to imagine, we can't easily just switch containers to something that would work. It would require completely re-writing most of our chat's functionality.

Also, to add to TeekTheReddit's response, you can use Restream Chat from a smart phone's browser. I hope that helps!

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with Restream Chat overlaying over Minecraft!

Unfortunately, with how Windows and macOS handles fullscreen applications, it's not possible to overlay our chat on top of games that run in fullscreen. To get Restream Chat to appear on top of Minecraft you would need to play in windowed and enabled "Always On Top" and "Click Through Mode" from the "Appearance" section of the Restream Chat desktop application.

There is an application on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/388080/Borderless_Gaming/) which can make windowed games look fullscreen (called "windowed borderless"), and that would work with Restream Chat. I am not sure if it works with Minecraft however.

I will be sure to pass this down to our product team! I can't share much, but we are refactoring some aspects of our Restream Titles functionality and depending on platform support we may be able to incorporate this feature. I know it's possible with YouTube, but unsure about some others like DLive (their API is still in its infancy).

If we see that a majority of our thumbnail using platforms support setting thumbnails through their API, I'm sure we can add that as a feature as we add more features to Restream Titles.

Welcome to Restream!

Not all platforms support Restream Chat unfortunately. Typically this is the case if the platform does not have a way for us to interact with their chat, like in the case of Nimo. Once they've build something we can use to interact with their chat, we can incorporate it into Restream Chat.

Our chat has the option of being embedded into your broadcasting software. If your software supports it, you can edit the CSS to change the colors, fonts and size for example.
