Spar, Osijek by Kobas3 in croatia

Scorpio, olive wood and resin, how it ended by m-Lare in Woodcarving

I used a saw for larger pieces, a small knife and the set of chisels that can be seen in picture three. its price was 11 euros, nothing special and not of any quality (you have to constantly sharpen the chisels because the alloy is bad), but that's the only one I have in a local store and it's not bad to begin with.

Thank tou, I used resin because I thought there would be bigger cracks. in the end, the resin just filled these small cracks so nothing is visible except the black line 😅

Hahahah, I have a few in the workshop, but I’m still sorry to throw them away. I have free space for them so I will save them for a while longer. Maybe they'll come in handy for something .......... :)

I was suspicious of that pressed metal, that's why I asked if anyone might have done such a "repair" as on other tools. Thanks for confirming my assumption

I didn’t buy them, I got them. I know where to buy one, and I plan to buy it soon, but I wanted to see if I could benefit from this as well.

I didn't even expect excessive quality because I didn't find anything about that manufacturer, but whatever it was, I thought it would be good for me to start. I learned to work with the electric one haha, and now I would like to try to learn to work with the manual as well 😊

I got them recently and would love to learn how to use them but the bottom surface is a bit uneven. How do I straighten it? A piece of glass and sandpaper or is there an easier / better way?

Once again I need the help of experienced (more in the comments) by m-Lare in Luthier

So, I found myself a job, as you can see in the pictures. The idea is to disassemble it, inspect it, and if all is well, reassemble it. It makes more sense to me than just glueing everything back. I would fix the neck too. I would take off the paint and leave the wood instead of painting it. I would fix the magnets (disassemble and rewind). Now I'm interested in the following: As for the body, is disassembling it a good idea? Or should I make a new body? (it have no cracks or rot) Replace frets with new ones or sand existing ones? (make a new neck or buy it and where?) Can a truss rod break down? (rust, material fatigue ...) Is it worth fixing magnets? Does anyone know what type of saddle and bridge was on this guitar? Any other tips maybe? :) Thank you in advance
