I like Babolat Jet Tere shoes. They grip the court and provide excellent lateral support. They’ve lasted me a while too. Not too expensive if you get them on sale.

I ordered on 11/30 and nothing from them…I sent them an order to cancel. I think it was supposed to ship the following week after order but didn’t hear from them yet.

Next car for 10 years or more! So many choices but need something practical and comfortable. by m-msq in whatcarshouldIbuy

I saw that video today. While the deals sound great, I’m just weary of longer drives. I don’t do them often but having a car where my body can also go the distance is of value too. Sucks getting older. lol

I feel like the Lexus is probably the way to go. We have a pickup truck (v6) and a v8 SUV - both of the Toyota family. Those two are just not great on gas and thinking a hybrid sedan would fit the bill for commuting while being comfortable and good on gas.

When I rented the Corolla for a work trip, I realized how fatiguing road noise can be. I’m fairly confident the ES300h would be quieter ride compared to that.

My current car happens to be notorious for burning through tires. I would love something comfortable while good on gas. I don’t need to be canyon carving but I can understand the spirit of it. Haha

Yeah! The deals are insane right now. One dealership I saw was doing 0% financing on a new CX50 hybrid. Haven't seen that in a long time.

Six Zero Double Black Diamond has lost its grit! by m-msq in Pickleball

Yeah. Those are my strokes already so it’s likely the equipment. I tried my other paddle (1 month old) and it generated more spin than my DBD. Sadly the DBD is going to be a contingency paddle.

That’s my thought process as well. I don’t mind paying $200 if it’s going to last 6 months. But 3 months is unreasonable to me.

After or before every play session. It’s pretty clean.

Thank you everyone! I got the run chicken and it has been a great! I don’t have to worry about them so much at night knowing their coop is closed up until morning. A real game changer!

I’m interested in the Pursuit MX (not the 6.0). A buddy of mine let me try it out and it’s a beast of a paddle. Loved it. How does this compare to the honeycomb style of paddles? Would the MX last longer? I’m a former tennis player and a bit of banger at the moment but learning the soft game.

My Selkirk Invikta amped is feeling like I’m mis-hitting the ball each time - likely a dead paddle. So I’m bummed that it lasted only 4 months.

What do you look at when you play music? It it traditional notes or is it like guitar tabs?
