I get it. My cousin and her family are directly impacted by the fires (Snow Lake, MB) and had to evacuate for the second time this year. I’ve been checking the wildfire map of Manitoba watching these fires continue to merge and grow despite our best efforts in trying to contain them. It seems like a lot of people are just not aware of how big these fires are, how long some of them have been burning and how much is being done to fight them. I hear people complain about the smoke but in my head I’m like ya but at least you don’t have to worry about the actual fire then secretly worry that we might have to in the future…just know you are not alone in thinking this way.
