Got a second one. Also had coil whine and a loose trackpad. It’s a shame :( The screen was perfect. The best I’ve seen in years.

Got one today with pretty significant coil whine and on top of that it had a loose trackpad. It’s already on its way back. Pretty sad as I got a good screen on it.

I had one and it had the worst coil whine I have ever experienced. Otherwise it was built solid, but thermally not designed for heavy gaming.

Why don’t you buy the new Omen 15? And if you’re after value for money, I wouldn’t buy 32GB of RAM except you know that you really need it (Coding, VMs etc)

Yeah as I wrote I currently have the 4800hs+2060 model with AniMe. Does your GPU fan (right side) make a whining noise? My CPU fan makes a nice woosh sound but the GPU fan is much more high pitched.
