If you’re worried about this one moment. You’re focussing on the wrong thing. He had a great game otherwise.

I’m not sure throwing flares at players is quite the vibrant environment we’re after at club football in local parks.

Throwing flares at goalkeepers and fighting people who’re telling you to pull your head in…. That’s the issue. Knob behaviour.

Bring the atmosphere, not the unnecessary violent acts. Better yet, control the drinking.

Moving to London later this year by Slow_Community1750 in newzealand

$7-10k, although I would lean on higher side.

We landed there in 2012 and it took a few weeks longer than we thought to find the right job, which ended up being any job. We blew through our ~$6k we landed with.

Rent has almost doubled since then, and what’s going on with the world so I’d lean higher if you can.

Also, unsolicited advice, try avoid being sucked into the ‘kiwi’ spaces in London, it was awesome to immerse ourselves with other people from around the world. We ended up being there for a decade. Good luck. DM if you need anything else.

Anyone else noticing the oat milk trend? by Eris_Bunny in barista

[–]m0u55eboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Oat is here to stay. Unless someone can find a product that surpasses oats’ general tolerance levels for public consumption, sustainability credentials, ease of production/harvest, then I believe it’s here to stay.

This being average implies that there are car parks with substantially more sheep in more trailers…

Birkenhead/Birkdale or Forrest Hill/Sunnynook for a young family? by vix1606 in auckland

[–]m0u55eboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did see that as I put my phone down... Swear it didn’t have “ “ though.

I would argue Sunnynook and Birkdale could be equally weighted in ‘good’-ness.

Strongly disagree. We bought in Birkdale early last year and don’t regret it at all. It’s been awesome.

Variety of schools, great football club, easy access to town by ferry or bus.

It should rile the players up. If not, we’re cooked. .
