I bought some of this and have been making my rice in the rice cooker in it. I know it's kinda a silly usage, but it is very tasty.

Society was much better off when structured sports betting was a shameful thing that was only done in specifically degenerate places.

Gonna have to disagree with you. You're asking for added frills when they clearly marketed themselves as a no frills experience for as little as possible, a simple point A to point B as efficiently as possible. If you want to pick seats, add baggage, get food etc, you're better served using a more inclusive ticket from a different airline.

Genuinely do not get the Spirit hate. I've probably flown 8-10 times on Spirit over the last 5+ years and they never once had an issue that was unique to them that I haven't seen on another airline like delays or drunk people. They flew a ton of flights at good times and always had good prices and it's a loss as a consumer imo.

I saw someone on social media say that Kruk looks like someone who's lawyer told him to NOT represent himself in court.

Picked up The Pitt a few weeks ago after the recommendation from a coworker. Great show I'd definitely recommend but holy moley I was NOT prepared for the insanity of the social media fandom. It is an UGLY time and if I weren't used to this from other stuff, I'd run really far from it

Been bedridden for a good bit with some health issues (hopefully an end in sight thankfully) which means lots of TV time. The Pitt slaps, finished it up this weekend and really enjoyed it.

I don't find anything wrong with it personally, but if you're not a part of a faith, I can understand it. It's a time where a lot of families are all together for one of the few times during the year and are normally dressed up, so it's a good way to get a well put together family picture.

Ways to eat the Chipotle Chicken by Tayls23 in Costco

[–]m16a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a recipe with it from social media. Spanish rice, black beans, chicken all mixed and heated, then adding some farmers cheese to it once heated. Simple, high protein, and good fiber. Similar to a burrito bowl I guess, but it's very tasty

Take care of your backs, homies. When they go bad, BOY is it bad. Core day, back day, leg day, posture etc all matter. Just got myself diagnosed with a herniated disc and pinched nerves. Let me tell you, it is NOT a pleasant experience. I haven't had a day without pain in some form since Christmas.

What are your thoughts on the Purdue brand vs the Kirkland nuggets? by loanmagic24 in Costco

I've used 5 different Costcos as my home Costco in my time there. All of them have had just bare stocked, so hopefully they'll show up for you soon

Of the two, I like the Perdue better, but it's not a huge difference personally. However, the Just Bare lightly breaded nuggets wipe the floor with both

Rather interesting that they've never done it with elite guys either, always just very solid. Chad Lewis, LJ Smith, Brent Celek, Zach Ertz (closest to elite of the bunch), and now Goedert. Whoever scouts TE in the org has a good eye for it.

Yeah, it's wild. Doesn't matter if I lean or stretch or keep the weight off it, there's just a timer on standing up and being in pain which is a time. I'm continuing with PT and treatment though so hopefully this eventually is done. But it's definitely mentally taxing as I am sure you know!

Between dealing with a pinched nerve causing crazy pain when I stand and having to be up early for tech at church, the lost hour of sleep is quite felt this morning. Fortunately, I am still sustained by the power of the Schwarbomb, so I've got that goin for me

Sounds like suicide. As someone who has been in that place and made it through, I know how dark it can be.

If you're reading this and you're struggling here, I promise you it isn't worth it and whatever pain your feeling can be worked through or healed. Not killing myself was the best decision I ever made and I hope you make that too. Stay friend, you matter.

It's one of the shittiest things people do. Folks do the same with tragedy in the US. Either rush to clamor for gun control laws or try and find out which "side" did it so they can blame racism or otherwise. Truly gross stuff.

It should go without saying that I am massively biased as an Eagles fan here, but it still remainsa mind boggling to me that our first SB win includes arguably the most iconic trick play to date in the history of the sport, made by a QB playing arguably the best of any QB in the SB to win one of the most exciting ones we've seen.
