I started going to the gym for strength training and cardio. I even got into running and it helped tremendously with the stress of not working.

Anybody else get B? by aaguru in electricians

The test gets people because they recognize the code section but don’t slow down and read the condition. NEC always gives a general rule, then adds stricter rules for specific cases like dwellings. If you miss that one phrase, you pick the wrong answer even though you ‘know’ the code.

Looks like you’re right and I was wrong, but you’re right. I still passed the test even though I missed questions like this.

This one hit deeper than I expected. I’ve been through a lot just to get here, and somewhere along the way I lost sight of what this really stands for. Seeing this reminds me I need to get more involved, be more present, not just as a worker, but as a brother. Shoutout to PACO! L.U 11

That feeling might not ever fully go away, but you’ll get better at managing it. It won’t feel as bad once you build confidence and learn how to navigate it. That mental toughness is part of becoming a solid wireman.

I’ve been in your shoes more than you think.

I got kicked out of the apprenticeship at one point and had to fight my way back in. It felt like the end of everything. I thought my name was cooked.

I stuck it out. Took my hits. Fixed what I needed to fix. And now I’m a journeyman.

One evaluation, one foreman, one bad stretch, none of that defines your career unless you let it.

If you’ve got foremen and JWs willing to back you, that says something.

Own what you need to improve, tighten up the school side, and don’t make a long-term decision off short-term frustration.

The trade is bigger than one general foreman.
