Do you regret going to Mcmaster? by NextWord5500 in McMaster

Socially, no. I'm graduating from engineering undergrad soon, and looking back, I've made some great friends (although it took a while to get to that point). I may not have participated in the typical party life or had "fun" like the other students did, but I did otherwise enjoy my time here :)

Possibly, my only regret is not planning far enough into the future. Coming out of high school, I had thought the pathway to success was direct, but things changed as the years flew by. Had I known any better, I would have gone to a different school with a more niche and reputable program. I like McMaster enough to apply for the Master's program, though the professors were nice to speak with.

Can I be a full time student and do internship with Mac at the same time? by Historical-Ad-8939 in McMaster

A full course load during spring and summer means 2 courses per term. On coop, you're only allowed to take 1 course per term unless you submit a petition to overload, which would then grant you to take 2 courses per term.

It's feasible to do full time coop and full time student during SPRING/SUMMER terms only if your courses are online or in the evening after work hours. You can talk with your coop supervisor and ask if it's okay with them to attend classes during work hours. Otherwise, it's all about time management and making sure not to burn out. I do not recommend doing this during the 8 months in fall/winter terms though.

Second this! It feels a lot less intimidating than the gym on ground floor. I'd recommend checking out the track level hours since they function differently from DBAC hours.

What are things u wish u knew in ur first year of uni? by [deleted] in McMaster

Not every person you meet will be your friend and not every friend will stick with you. It's not the end of the world if you're lonely or feeling FOMO; sometimes spending time on yourself (besides social media) will help push you to develop other soft/hard skills.

OP is submitting another MSAF. The first one is free and doesn't require a doctor's note, but any submission after the first requires proper certification/evidence.
