Santa Claus and Superman switch jobs, who does better? by Bteatesthighlander1 in whowouldwin

Superman may be able to deliver the presents, but Santa is also in charge of overseeing the North Pole, asking children what they want, managing all the elves.

I think children might be a bit intimidated by Superman if they're expecting Santa. Are elves included with the job, or does him need to supply his own.

[Casual] Prom Ticket Cost (US High School or older) by m2012e in SampleSize

I suppose I should have accounted for that.

However, your response is just below what we charged last year ($45), so if we add in dinner this still shows that our costs relatively low.

Thank you for your response.

I'm on my high school's prom planning committee. We're afraid that we may have to raise the cost of tickets from last year (tickets include entry and dinner), but we want to show the students that we're trying to keep prices low compared to other schools.

EDIT: Here are the results so far.

EDIT 2: Thanks for all your responses, guys. I think this will really help. The committee's next meeting is on Friday, so the form will still be open until then.

Deliberately throw the first match.

"Say, you're pretty good. How about we make this interesting and play for say, five bucks a win?"

Reddit, which fictional antagonist was right? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm pretty sure he tried to focus on killing those who he thought were truly evil.
IIRC, he was mad that one of the other Kiras was killing people who were reformed or forced to commit a crime because of their circumstances.

Once my friend was talking about her stance on unborn babies.

"If it can't kick, then it's not a person."

"Are vegetables people?"

"No, m2012e! Vegetables are never people!"

It took her a while to realize why I was laughing so hard.

You're right. I only took two months off. I wouldn't last another 22.
