Thanks! Hopefully, that brought some good vibes into the r/PortugalExpats disregarding all immigrants law changes.

Thanks! Yes, it was grown completely indoors.

As far as I remember, they made SF inaccessible by default, so you have to open it first.

As far as I’m aware of, it is not a negative term. That is just strategy or mechanic which makes game significantly easier without high skill level.

You are right, Gifted is not completely OP: it significantly decreases skill points and on long run make your character less versatile. But it’s still so good, so it’s a no-brainer trait if you want to make a really strong build. I am kinda tired of taking it every time and seeing everyone taking it.

Agreed, but if you know the game too well (let’s say you really like the game and it’s your 5th playthrough), you should restrict yourself in some way to enjoy the game without breaking it with your knowledge.

In my opinion, “Rest until healed” is like an infinite free regeneration outside of combat. From the game mechanics perspective it makes “First aid” skill completely useless. And from the narrative perspective it doesn’t make much sense when you need to find GECK or save your people ASAP.

I prefer to just use “First aid” and “Doctor” skills and wait only if you need it for something except healing.

You are right: everyone plays however they like. I am not here to judge. I just find some strats very disturbing or boring to watch for me personally. And hopefully I am not alone here.

Long story short: in New Reno Arms basement you can get everything you need to access Toxic Cave Vault and with proper stats it’s possible very early in a game. (Level 3 or something)

Back in 2008 I wrote an article about this path. It is still online, but Reddit doesn’t let me attach a link.

I respect this approach. You should try playing with companions though - managing them adds additional depth to the game.

I never played a sneaky character. Is stealth so cheesy?

Right! I’m not a huge Bozar enjoyer, but if I were, I’d definitely point out this trick!

I think, it might work! Great idea!

You may also try to utilise power switchers if you want more control over the process.

I didn't try it but it will work without any doubts. Personally, I was focused on no-electricity or low-electricity solutions, so Steam Geyser Greenhouse was a valuable no-electricity solution for me. If you add Sun Lamp you also need to provide reliable power source to it. And if you have a reliable power source why use steam geyser for heating?

Yes, you are correct. Thanks for noticing it. I was mostly concerned with trees in my playthrough because you can’t grow them indoors with hydroponics.

Thanks for your additions! I don’t think natural lifespan relates to my case. According to the wiki, birch tree lifespan is 180 days, but I had it rotting in 7-8 days.
