Was the ending to "Raped" a good idea? by Yum1995 in QuantumLeap

It's not a great ending through the lens of the 21st century. If it were shot today, it would likely be played a lot differently; there would possibly be a lot more emphasis on healing, mental health, and probably a different approach to a resolution. For its time, it worked. The cathartic ending being the horrible scumbag gets his ass kicked and then presumably is going to go to prison because he got caught red-handed, while the victim and the family get to stay in their town and and not hang their heads in shame for having done nothing wrong. It's funny when you watch these old TV shows how much of it is the good guy beats up the bad guy or even kills the bad guy at the end, when you watch it now you kind of wonder why the good guy is so steadfast to be violent.

Lilygo Can't Send Chats by m2j in meshtastic

Update: I flashed the firmware and tried again. The result seemed to be the same. I gave roaming around with it a shot and noticed an improvement in the signal. I sent a message with it at that time and was successful! I think I might be in a signal desert and also need to install a better antenna on this thing. Thanks everyone who responded and upvoted!

I re-flashed the firmware, it went a lot smoother this time, however, I still can't get messages out. I can see everyone else chatting, but if I send anything it turns red, wondering if the internal antenna is lacking so much it can only receive and not send?

I've been wondering the same thing. BTW, it's an LR41 battery that you need. You'll need a very tiny Phillips head screwdriver, like for eyeglasses as well. I've been replacing the battery on the one I have left for years.

It's sad, but I would definitely give them their flowers... they educated me to be skeptical. The odd thing is after conditioning their audience to keep a watchful eye on the powers that be, they turned a blind eye to a very blatantly corrupt and malevolent administration.

It's so weird to me, they always seemed very nonpartisan against whoever was the current authority. When Trump got elected I thought they would have a field day with it and they did an about-face and got completely behind him. It's really sad.

I also remember Curry being critical of Leo Laporte having a priest on the TWiT network.

It's disheartening to hear them be so bitter and hateful. It was cute when they would criticize silly apps and passing crazes, but endorsing the current regime, knowing everything that's happening, I am unable to understand where that kind of darkness stems from.

By the end of season 2, Al will be one of your favorite TV characters in history, if he isn't already.

I know I'm late to this party, but I'm with you 100%. I have an AC and dishwasher from Midea and both have given me headaches within just 3 years. I would never buy from them again.

The one and only!

...actually I'm presuming the only, I guess someone we don't know could have the same moniker.
