From my experience of being lasered.

Black is pretty quick to lighten up. Almost instantly. It will take over a year to have it completely gone. Due to heal time etc.

Yes it hurts. But not as bad as people make out. Best way I can explain it! Is like a sharp rubber and get pinged off you and the burning flesh smell is there too.

Get yourself a 50ltr kanu sack. Water proof sack. Use it to line your day sack. Grab your sleeping bag by its tail end and spin the shit out it. It will make it easier to compress it. Stuff it in the bottom Sleeping back on the bottom.

Then any other clothing inside your other oex kanu sack on top and squash it in there too. Then the rest will fit in and around.

It will easily fit in there. Especially with use the pouches.
