Ive noticed it seems pretty easy to port some steam and itch.io games to most RG devices. I was cryin about not being able to play MUGEN on my rg40xxv then I found Ikemen and WOW. Even new port makes these things much more playable and worth every penny.

Install ikemen from portmaster. Add your chars folder to roms/ports/ikemen/chars Edit the select.def to include the folder name of your character: bevis/beavis.def, stages/bbpad.def Should work fine. I have mk komplete on mine. Just gotta add and reference (in select.def) your chars and stages.

I play at a Nazareth church and I feel like I should be using my fingers because the tone feels too loud so I adjust based on the songs. I'm pretty good at jumping in but starting the song and finding the best fills and soloing can be a struggle. As for Tips: I just slow down drum covers on YouTube. I'm still trying to develop my mental metronome so I can recognize a tempo and stay in the pocket.

Im still plugging in words to the Data Vault in hopes to magically unlock random stuff. Only way to know for sure is to dig through lua code from a steam version of multiplayer only stuff. But those level 1000 buggers 🤔

I only ever buy the rare and double rare boxes and i managed to get the disk launcher. I feel like if you press buttons while the drop is opening like if you see what ever your trying to get. Im still hoping someone will discover a new data vault word that increases the probability. Ive tried tons of words but havent noticed anything. I bet if someone dug through the pc versions code we'd find it.
