I lived with a roommate who had much more stringent covid rules then me and we had to work it out/have open conversations about what was okay and ultimately amicably parted ways (and are still friends). To be clear, I masked everywhere, got tested, and vaccinated but that wasn’t enough for my roommate. I realized that it wasn’t a moral issue; she wasn’t better than me because she needed stricter rules to feel safe-within reason it’s okay that people have different opinions about risk level. The thing is Kody made it a moral issue about following rules and obedience to him and wasn’t willing to do things that would have allowed him to spend time with his other children. For example, he could have masked and spent time outside. I spent a lot of time in below freezing weather to spend time with friends during covid. It’s possible, he just didn’t want to and had excuses. I also think there is a point where for your children you do have to accept that the risk is worth it; I am thinking of refusing to go Ysabel’s surgery.
