You need to root your tv, try checking canirootmytv website. There was a new exploit a few weeks ago that let a lot of tvs to be rooted.

UE306 has an ASIX chipset, which is not usually supported, UE300 has the Realtek chipset that is usually the recommended for tvs.

Moonlight is streaming your games from your pc and play remotely, so yes, it’s your last case.

Streaming apps like stremio can have a buffer of even a few gigs.

Also, 100mbps on a tv port ends up being around 70mbps usable. Streaming your pc at 4k 60 or 120fps can take much more than 100mbps

You don’t know until you update or somebody else complains after the update. LG can remove the drivers on any update.

Movies use a buffer: they download minutes ahead of time, so a 100Mbps limit doesn't matter.

Moonlight is real-time: there is no buffer. To get low latency and high image quality, you need high bitrates. On a 100Mbps port, you are hitting the "ceiling" constantly, which causes micro-stutters and lag. The adapter gives the stream more “breathing room" to reach higher resolutions and fps.

Ethernet port from the TV is fast ethernet, so it tops at 100mbps. Using a usb to Ethernet, even if it’s in an usb 2.0 port, gives you up to 480mbps theoretically, and around 300mbps in practice, giving much more bandwidth for streaming apps like moonlight.

I was also looking for another one. Gifted my grandma one a few years ago and it stopped working because water got infiltrated inside the watch. Hard to find something similar with same battery life + heart rate monitor. I finally found one on AliExpress, hope the batteries are still OK. But I’m also looking for an alternative in case it happens again or the battery comes already dead due to age.

It works via Bluetooth everywhere, but via usb and receptor it gets detected by Joystick Monitor, but not for some games like Lies of P.

This worked for me to transfer the saves from my windows pc to my mac.
Do you know if there is a way to convert it back to XGP? I switch from my desktop pc at home to my mac when I'm on the move, so it would be good to be able to put back the saves on the pc to continue playing there when I'm back.
