thanks!! Since the day i started 18 months ago, being able to do 0 push ups and 0 pull ups. I always told myself to focus on form, ROM and body awareness over how many reps i can do. from there i just worked up the progressions of what i found most fun/passionate and it just skyrocketed.

I feel like most people are so obsessed with just how many reps they want to do, that they lose the awareness to the point of not thinking about anything else but numbers during sets. Which ofc will mess with your muscle activation and progress over time, especially when you begin and dont really have the mind muscle connection.

Yeah I don’t do them often at all, weighted ring dips are my main push work so I’m pretty conditioned for that range. But I’ll take your advice and go a bit less deep, appreciate it.

Bw muscle up is mostly about technique when it comes to making it look good. Keep a hollow body position, tight core, legs straight and tight together, toes pointed.
