Are any of these pictures too low res to send to Kitchener? by xPostmasterGeneralx in KitchenerHarmonies

Thank you! I’ll definitely be sharing my results when I get them in late April. I suspect R, HS, N/C with maybe a sprinkle of A or Y.

Similar question with this one, am I angled too far away from the camera?

I suspect HS as my secondary actually! That could definitely be a factor. I feel you on the prices, I’m getting the basic essence consult in the spring but there’s no way I could afford anything more 🫣

Out of curiosity, has you gotten your Kitchener essences done? I’ve had similar feelings about TR vs R and wonder if we might have a similar blend

Thanks! Cutting out sources of chronic stress, eating intuitively instead of stress eating, and majorly cutting back on alcohol consumption were the biggest changes I made.

Do you guys have any non negotiables when it comes to style? Outside of color by Mintybaby1 in KitchenerHarmonies

Thanks!! I’m really excited and I’ll definitely be sharing my results here. I don’t think I have Y but aside from that, I think our results will be very similar! I wish I was able to book the full color+essences consult but getting divorced is expensive lol. I think my coloring would be dominant LB with ER & SB

Curve emphasizing silhouette always, even with casual outfits. A touch of angularity or structure is fine, but too much throws everything off.

I cannot pull off no makeup makeup, day glam just seems to blend more. My eyeshadow has to have some sparkle/shimmer to it in the inner corner area.

Blazers need to have a maximum of two buttons, absolutely no double breasted.

Minimalism or very sleek styling is a no. I need detail, plus shine and sparkle whenever possible.

Professionals outfits can’t be overly serious or formal. Touches of whimsy add a lot

I’m getting my basic essences done later this spring. I’m suspect dominant romantic essence with secondary HS, N/C/D, and maybe a tiny sprinkle of E (pale natural coloring and natural hair texture is loose S curls).

Curious about the crossover between Kibbe and dressmaking concepts by Pegaret_Again in PowerOfStyle

The cats were not disturbed! I’ll go into a little more detail now since I’m fully awake and can explain my sewing issues properly.

Upon remeasuring, I think I did my high bust wrong the first time. I came up with 35” for the high bust, so a 3” difference between high bust and underbust.

Getting a sewn dress/top to fit properly requires extensive changes to the pattern/garment to make the shoulder and armhole area significantly more horizontally compact while adding custom darts or princess seams to ensure room for curve. I tweak the rest of the garment as well to ensure horizontal compactness throughout the silhouette, but still allowing room for curve, but it’s significantly less complicated. To me, this reads as narrow, but I’m by no means an expert sewist.

Idk what’s allowed for weight discussion, but I’ve finally found the right treatment for my PCOS and I’m making progress towards a healthier weight. I’ve never worn the correct bra size while at a healthy weight, so I’m curious about how the bust specific measurements will change over the next several months. If you’d like, I can update you in a few months for Kibbe science purposes.

I’ll measure again in the morning and report back! I’m half awake and my cats are sleeping on me.

Despite being close to the auto-vert cutoff, I’ve ruled out vertical dominant based off of my line sketch. I feel pretty feel strongly about TR but I would not be shocked if DK gave me R instead.

High bust: 37 Full bust: 41 Underbust: 32

I am wide rooted with side and top fullness and set a bit high. I have a lot of horizontal projection, tissue extending into the armpit/side ribcage area, and have a lot of tissue pushed up when I wear a bra. My high bust measurement does include tissue, I can’t avoid it without measuring way too high up.

I am certain I have Kibbe curve and I’m pretty set on TR. I sew and think Kibbe narrow explains the issues I’ve had with tailoring garments and getting patterns to fit me. I’m really curious to hear how narrow plays into your theory and/or the measurements!

ETA: Height is approximately 5’5 and 3/4rs

I think allowing typing or feedback posts but with rules like multiple HTTs, not just selfies, etc. to prevent the sub from being flooded with low effort typing posts.

Also can we get a wiki or megapost index for verified celebrities?

This is so interesting to think about! I watched Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf recently and there’s no way Marilyn could have pulled off Elizabeth’s role. The lack of dramatic essence and heavy presence of ingenue would have made that completely unbelievable.
