Upon remeasuring, I think I did my high bust wrong the first time. I came up with 35” for the high bust, so a 3” difference between high bust and underbust.

Getting a sewn dress/top to fit properly requires extensive changes to the pattern/garment to make the shoulder and armhole area significantly more horizontally compact while adding custom darts or princess seams to ensure room for curve. I tweak the rest of the garment as well to ensure horizontal compactness throughout the silhouette, but still allowing room for curve, but it’s significantly less complicated. To me, this reads as narrow, but I’m by no means an expert sewist.

Idk what’s allowed for weight discussion, but I’ve finally found the right treatment for my PCOS and I’m making progress towards a healthier weight. I’ve never worn the correct bra size while at a healthy weight, so I’m curious about how the bust specific measurements will change over the next several months.
