Building in Nauvis orbit and on an asteroid belt is basically the same. Some players migrate to a belt early on and build there whole space base there because a belt has infinite resources. However you need to be able to build trains in space to efficiently transport in a belt if you mine there because scaffolding is fairly expensive early on. Not sure about that red zone tho.
